I totally agree and know Roy has more than enough experience to make a valid point on this subject as that is what I do believe effectively ended his career.Comment

In fairness, Roy was in a way different situation. Roy is a lot, lot smaller than Usyk and started his career at 154 and moved up to fighting a guy who was 236 lbs.Comment

Next thing you know Canelo is ducking the heavy weight champ. Is Charlo ducking Benavides? Is Benavides ducking charlo or Andrade? Yeah ok. Boxing fans are the worst that’s why ufc is way more popular. We want one guy to fight everyone but are ok with the rest to sit around fighting lesser opposition while they wait to be picked. They ALL need to step up. EVERY Benavides and Charlo opponent is smaller, slower, and less power. Why would I watch those fights?Comment

It’s a major compliment to Canelo to even have conversations like this with a Heavyweight and his name tied into it.All is this talk about a Canelo vs Usyk fight is ******-talk. Who thinks this shyyt up? It does seem to be a back-handed compliment to Canelo to even talk about him fighting a guy who is 8 inches taller, 45 lbs heavier, with an 8-inch reach advantage and to top it off one of the most skilled heavyweights of the last 25 years. Get a life folks!Comment

I just don’t know how much Usyk’s weight has actually gone up. Obviously he’d have to dehydrate for the weigh-in at cruiser but how much more than he had to do when he fought Gassiev.
truthfully, I don’t think Canelo is fighting anyone at 200. Not Makabu, not Briedis, not anyone. He’ll swoop in to scoop that 190 belt and then never again at cruiser. We’ll see…Comment
