Wouldn't the logical (money) choice be a multi fight deal with Matchroom for a shot at the belts in Australia? And if boxing is about money would not the second, most logical choice for Matchroom be a money fight with the best known lightweights in Australia...Lomachanko vs Kambosos? The problem that both Haney, Andrade have is that neither are names that draw made more difficult by the ******uous relationship between sanctioning bodies and promoters/managers. For the record, I think it is Lomachanko that needs to get away from TopRank because Bob will never allow Lomachanko to fight outside of ESPN.

IMO a fighter's ability to draw, competing promoters, managers and the sanctioning bodies are most definitely difficult obstacles. That said, these obstacles become insurmountable walls when fighters are forced to deal with individualizes that have exclusive network rights that they use like a gate keeper to act in THEIR own best interest and not in the interest of the fighter, sport or the fan base.

IMO....If ESPN and Showtime did away with the exclusive rights to any promoter/manager we would see more contenders with access and much, much more competitive fights.
Then why is Hearn talking so much about Haney vs. Kambosos?

Eddie Hearn Confident Haney Gets George Kambosos Fight
      December 5, 2021

Eddie Hearn says talks will begin for the undisputed lightweight bout between four-belt champ George Kambosos Jr. and WBC champion Devin Haney this week.

Hearn says the Kambosos vs. Haney is the “ONLY” fight that can be made at 135, eclipsing other potential matches the Australian can make against Gervonta Davis, Ryan Garcia, or Vasily Lomachenko...

“We just got to make sure we do the best that we can for the fighters. I’d like to think that Kambosos’ team trusts us after what we did for that fight [against Teofimo Lopez] and making sure it goes over the line,” said Hearn...

Kambosos – Haney Negotiations Start This Week

“This week,” said Eddie Hearn when asked when the negotiations will begin for the Kambosos vs. Haney fight. “We’ll speak to [promoter] Lou [DiBella] and Kambosos’ team, and it’s the natural fight, it’s the ONLY fight.

“He’s [Kambosos] going to want a homecoming in Australia, and he deserves it. We’re probably one of the few that is willing to go,” Hearn said of Haney being willing to fight Kambosos in Australia.

“To add to what he said, it was probably a year ago when we were struggling a little bit for direction because people didn’t want to fight Devin Haney unless they got overpaid.

“So, we have to thank DAZN for not just investing in Devin Haney but making sure we get the right fights. In 12 months, he’s gone Gamboa, Linares, and Jojo Diaz. So he [Haney] has the best resume of those [four] Kings that you say, and there’s plenty more to come.

“Just 23-years-old, he’s an amazing fighter,” Hearn with his promotional hat on.

Didn't you even read what you quoted? Hearn has no contractual obligation with Haney.
The opposite is also true. These are mature adults. They can go anywhere they want to.
You should be asking why they won't go to Haymon or Mayweather if you think they're
        being treated unfairly?
Why aren't they getting any offers from PBC/TMT?
You keep saying Hearn has no contractual obligation with Haney, but Hearn said he would be contacting DiBella to start talks! Why would he be doing that, if he has no contractual obligation? Why are you stuck on Haymon and Mayweather? The Haneys can choose other avenues than them! There's TR (Loma, Ramirez, Barbosa, and Teofimo Lopez), and there's GBP (Ryan Garcia).

Hearn: Realistically, May Is Probably Right Time For Kambosos-Haney Undisputed Fight
        December 9, 2021

LAS VEGAS – With any luck, the next fight for both George Kambosos Jr. and Devin Haney will come versus one another for the undisputed lightweight championship.

“I think realistically, end of April earliest. But realistically, May is probably the right time for the undisputed fight,” Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing told BoxingScene.com and other reporters following Haney’s WBC lightweight title-defending unanimous decision win over Joseph ‘JoJo’ Diaz Jr. (32-2-1, 15KOs)...

“Obviously, both are coming off tough fights, Kambosos tougher. He got marked up pretty bad,” note Hearn. “Realistically, we’re looking at May for Devin. I’d like to see Devin take a nice break, get back in camp maybe early February. The issue we have to resolve is the travel issue with the pandemic. Right now we can enter several parts of Australia without quarantine but that could change."

We don’t rule out doing the fight in America or the Middle East. It’s the undisputed championship. It’s an important fight all around the world. We’ll explore all of those. It’s not just, we’re packing our bags and going to Australia. That’s where George would like to do it. We have to be represented properly in this situation as well, make sure it’s the right situation for Devin Haney to be in. There might be many offers.”

It's going to be great watching all of these kids eat crow when Loma destroys Haney. Big Fat Dunn will be on suicide watch.

That proves squat. Hearn's contract with Haney has ended.
He has no legal obligation or responsibilty to provide fights for him.
Father and son are like kids who are afraid to leave their parents.
They keep clinging on their mother's skirt and too scared to go out in the open.

Of course, things come up, potential business opportunities emerge for the interest
of both parties. How can you not understand this?

Fans don't care about Haney, everybody knows it is an email champ. Let the top fighters sort things out and then Haney can get a shot.

Doesn't matter. Father and son can leave Hearn any time they want.
                    Nobody wants them, 'cept Hearn.

Even when Haney offered himself as last minute replacement for Romero,
effing Ellerbe, instead of expressing gratitude, went berserk fuming mad at Hearn

How did we get back to Ellerbe, Floyd, and PBC? Their job is managing Tank's career, not Haney's career! That was Hearn's job, and he hasn't done a good job! Hopefully, he can get the Kambosos fight done? If not, Haney needs to go in another direction ASAP!
