The government says it was a violation of the RICO act for him to be installed as ratings chairman. Bob Sr wrote in his autobiography it was his dream for his family to control the IBF forever. As soon as the federal monitoring was over, his nephew led a coup to take back control of the IBF. Which means after the bribery convictions, after new leadership was installed, after the federal monitoring, when all was said and done, Bob Lee's family still controls the IBF, just like Lee had always dreamed.

how many $30 million judgements did the IBF have? Answer: Zero.
So your argument is that going to prison for criminal convictions for bribery isn't as bad as a civil judgement?

wasnt Bob Lee acquitted of all the bribery nonsense and only convicted of tax issues? You seem to have selective memory.
Bob Lee was convicted on several counts of bribery, so it seems you are the one with the selective memory.

That is a lie. He was acquitted of every bribery charge. His convictions were for tax related issues. And his son was acquitted of every single charge against him.

Boxing: Acquitted on charges involving improper payments, he likely faces three-year sentence.

"The jury, after deliberating 15 days at the end of a four-month trial, found Lee guilty on three counts of bribery in his dealings with Francisco Fernandez of Colombia, the IBF’s South American representative."

word salad. His only convictions were for tax evasion and money laundering. The record is easy to look up

You're incorrect. He was also convicted of three charges of interstate travel in aid of racketeering. If you read the third circuit court of appeals judgement denying his motion for appeal, it spells out plainly that those three convictions were for traveling from New Jersey to ******ia to collect his share of the bribery money.

                Why is he still banned?

Well with Shane's absense, I'll vote for Koba or Nash.

I'm claiming victory, and win by default on the account that no one fought for NSB 2021 Poster of the year, more than me. BoxingIsGreat , you may declare me the winner.
