Joshua needs to fight someone else. He clearly lost to Usyk and was in very bad shape at the end. If he steps aside so Fury can drop his WBC belt to fight Usyk that is the peoples choice fight. Joshua needs to fight Wilder and we move down the loser from the top of the rankings and move someone else up. A win by Joshua over Wilder will give him a boost in his confidence if he later fights Fury, or Usyk in a rematch. It is the only way.

I don't know if Joshua is up to fighting Fury or Wilder at this point though. Is that why he is taking the Usyk rematch because he thinks a loss to Fury or Wilder will be a more brutal ending?

I think the beat scenario for Joshua is to step aside and fight the winner of Usyk - Fury. Usyk is fresh with little battles in to his career, after one or two Fury fights maybe his health or/and his confidence will not be the same. Whyte is standing in the middle of everything and he brings nothing but ****** distraction to the table.

What happened to February? Dragging feet much?
Rematchroom's Whyte is Fury's next opponent now anyway if he stops being so entitled to, that's undesputed is gone again.
Aj doesn't deserve it, he's lost 2 in 4 when he isn't fighting shot past it old men & is only relevant through paperwork.
Ducked Wilder undesputed in a sky tv interview in 18, blocked Ruiz Wilder undesputed in 19, blocked Fury Usyk undesputed in 21. Just spoilt Rematchroom children, if it's not them nobody can have it.

I said back in October that I’ve noticed that some big fights tend to land 6-8 weeks after Hearn claims they will, and expected Usyk-Joshua for June.

I could be just seeing a pattern that isn’t there and perhaps there’s plenty of info that easily disproves my point, but can anyone here say with great confidence that the rematch is happening in April?

I agree, i can't see Aj taking even a glancing shot against Wilder though even at 36.

Eddie Hearn was saying February few months back and now it is April, guy lies every month and these boxing youtube channels act as his propaganda arm. He will delay it as much as possible, Joshua does not even have a new coach till now.

I think he is fighting Usyk because if he wins this time he revenges a loss and wins 3 World titles and goes back to being a unified champion. You ain't guna win that much by facing anybody else and he is contracted to face him so why should he step aside to give the ppl the "ppls choice".

I don't think he beats Usyk in a rematch either but I don't blame him for trying.
