      Because they are dumb.

And also because purses tend to result in whether or not a fight happens.

No one is going to fight for free.

It's one of those ridiculous things about boxing.

Surely we all just want to see... Crazy idea... a fight?
Cause they don’t have the knowledge to talk about fighting abilities.

The rules you posted are dated 2009 and haven't appeared in the rules section of the WBC website in over a decade. The current rules and regulations, posted currently in the rules section of the WBC website, are dated 2011.

Did you post old rules by mistake or did you purposely try to fool everyone? Why are you lying and saying they're from 2016 when they clearly say 2009?

Can you give an example of the type of thing you mean? Cuz imo alot of Boxers and their handlers are using money as an excuse to duck dangerous fights when the easy route seems more appealing and because that is quite obvious the subject of money brings itself to debates between fans of those Boxers and of the sport.

Well the obvious one right now is Fury/Whyte, with both sides having silly demands which means that the fight is stalling.

The endless argument from fans over their splits is ridiculous. I get that people are just bored and have nothing better to do, but some are imploring Fury to walk away or desperately trying to justify why 20%/45% is correct (for either fighter).

If they want to fight, they will find a middle ground. If they don't want to fight, they won't.

Fans who justify the nonsense or want to argue as if it has something personally to do with them... Just get out more I guess.

We've seen this in many other fights too. This is just an example.

not really given much of a choice Boxing is a BUSINESS and fans have not taken up interest on the business side of the sport as well always wanting to know Purse, % Split, PPV Buys, Ratings... constantly concerned if Networks and Promoters are making or losing money

It is just beyond ridiculous now. No other sport focus on Ratings and PPV Buys like Boxing Fans...Boxing Fans even go as far as ROOTING for Boxing Events to Fail then cry when they don't get the fights they want

Fury's team requested the split be modified to 80/20 from the usual 70/30 because Fury makes over 10x as much as Whyte and has over 10x as many fans. The WBC agreed with the request. The request was reasonable, not silly, and was granted.

Whyte's request, for 45%, based on the lie that interim champions are entitled to 45%, is silly.

The rule in 2016 was 45% for interim fatso, that was one of the reasons Canelo dropped the belt. Now ru.....jo.......walk slowly on michelin man.

Why are the old WBC rules still up online when they no longer apply?

Are the WBC actively trying to confuse boxing fans?

Why are the new WBC rules so vague and ambiguous on crucial aspects of the sport?
