He should try to follow joe Joyce's path. He's been matched very well

That’s basically what I’m saying. It’s always about how boxers are matched.
Clarke is better than Joyce already but when you look at how Joyce has been matched despite how very limited he’s - that’s the best blueprint for Clarke.Comment

Joyce is a little different from most of Warrens fighters. In fact so are Warrington and Galahad. You see, they had already made their way up to contender level fighting solid opponents level by level until they got a shot, or in Joyce's case, on the verge of. So when inherited, they had to match them at the appropriate level. Those big fights for Warrington and Galahad were being pursed by Hearn, and those fighters being sparked out is down to the fighter not Matchroom. Those fighters went back to Hearn because Warren can't deliver unifications. Ricky Burns was promised one by Warren and it never happened. In fact Warren claimed a unification for Burns vs Miguel Vazquez was done, when it clearly wasn't. Burns went to Hearn and he got a unification with him at 140. BJS couldn't get a unification fight from Warren either. Goes to Hearn, and a unification and a career high payday against Canelo. But for Fraser Clarke none of that is applicable right now. His career needs building up. If you go and look at the fighters that Warren handles. The majority of them get pushed up the WBO rankings with the WBO European title, make it to no 1 having beaten nobody of world level and become mandatory, without fighting a final eliminator. Zach Parker, Archie Sharp, even Jack Catterall, who I do like but hasn't fought world level yet. Lewis Crocker is no 7 in the WBO. There's not a planet in our solar system that would have him as a top 30 Welterweight, let alone 7th. Dubois also is highly ranked and beaten nobody. Maybe some prove successful, but it's a gamble. The Warren way, is to top domestic level while acquiring high ranking and going into title shots untested at world level. Some make the leap but more don't. At least Hearns fighters have earned the shot and we can judge their chances on proper merit. For Clarke I'm not sure if BOXXER will work for him. Like I say they have no proven track record. But hopefully it will be better for him than Warren and he can be better prepared if he gets a title shot.
This is about who can guide his career better. And based on the sample size available - especially with how Joyce has been guided with his limited talent - I just thought he’d develop better under Warren.
The only reason why there was hype about Hearn was the misconception that he made AJ a superstar when he actually didn’t. Hence he hasn’t been able to create any other boxer to even become a borderline star and he ruined all the ones with potentials to become stars. AJ made Hearn and Matchroom have the worst Matchmakers in boxing.
Joyce is the most limited HW currently being hyped. And how was he able to attain the position? - it’s basically because of how he was matched. He should get his title shot pretty soon. If Joyce were with Matchroom - he would’ve be exposed and beaten by now because Hearn definitely would’ve thrown him in there with a terrible style matchup.
Look at Josh Warrington for example: he was with Hearn for a long time and his career never progressed. Then he left Matchroom for Frank Warren and Warren guided him to become a world champ. Left Warren and went back to Hearn because he thought Hearn has the big bank to bring him the unification fights he wants and ended up getting sparked back into obscurity by an unknown Mexican. Ditto Kid Gallag. I could go on and on. Matchroom is where careers die because they don’t do their homework properly.
Money isn’t just everything in boxing. It involves a lot of other things. Tyson Fury isn’t as good as advertised but he looks like a world beater due to favourable matchups. Wilder is a certified bum who made a career out of knocking off bums. Even a clown like Jake Paul looks like a boxer due to how they keep giving him planks to knock off. That’s how the game is played - you just don’t throw boxers into the deep end all the time - it’s just ****** and wicked. There’s no perfect boxer and you have to build boxers slowly and match them well to create a buzz for them and help them develop. Especially when it comes to confidence.Comment

I told you…..LMAOOO. I see the lil skinhead and racist white supremacist, Kafkod, who’s always pro-whiteness is mad I don’t give a fcck about his hero, Hearn. LMAOOO. This bummy Fury slurper is talking about matchups when he sleeps on here defending Fury for not fighting Whyte. Dirty and smelly Northern chav.
Man, fccck you in yer lil cave and fccck Hearn. I’m from London and I don’t see colour!Comment

All those guys were well matched and Fish Eyes continued with that. Styles make fights hence promoters invest a lot in matchmakers. It’s not always about the names who they’re fighting - it’s about knowing your fighter’s weakness and not matching them against fighters whose strengths are your fighter’s weaknesses.

Take Joyce for example: as horrible as Hunter looked in his last fight, if you throw him in there with Joyce - he’ll light Joyce up like a Christmas tree. As old as Povetkin is, he’ll spark Joyce in 6 rds. Rivas beats Joyce easily with his predictable overhand right. I can go on. But you see Warren has carefully steered him away from these types of fighters and the only half-decent boxer he has fought is an inexperienced Dubois who was hurt by a 45-yr Ghanaian cruiserweight that arrived in the U.K. 2hrs before they fought (BTW I picked Joyce to stop Dubois). That’s how you build boxers.
Warrington is a feather fisted brawler and there’s no point putting him out there after a long lay-off due to covid against a big punching Mexican brawler that unleashes big hooks from weird angles. The same is applicable to Kid. He just doesn’t care about these guys and helping them build their profiles. And he does is use them as sacrificial lambs to expand DAZN (which is sadly not expanding and has no stronghold anywhere including the U.K. where BOXXER is on the verge of dethroning Matchroom).
Anyway, I’m not a fan of Warren and he also has his own flaws. But when it comes to developing prospects - he’s light years ahead of Hearn.
BTW, I think BOXXER is a rebranded MTK Global and all the letter’s boxers now fight on BOXXER cards. So you know once the fully rebrand without people associating them with the Irish cartel - they have endless funds to go toe to toe with Hearn. And once AJ who’s almost done is out of the picture and the bum, Conor Benn (the new guy they’re trying to build on Matchroom who lacks talent and star power) gets sparked - it’s over for Hearn.Comment

I agree with some parts of what you say. But those fighters losing are imo finding it hard to be motivated and they are looking beyond to bigger things. It's a lack of professionalism on the part of the boxer, and I can't see how Hearn can be blamed as he's expecting, like all of us, for fighters to remain professional, in those less exciting match ups. Warren has a lot of poor match ups. He brings in international opponents, whose records look decent numerically, but there's no quality in there whatsoever. He used to have a thing for Latinos, mostly argentinians, but seems to have a penchant lately for Bosnians, Serbs and Croats. If Hearns matchmaking is poor putting them in dangerous fights then Warrens is poor at the other end of the spectrum. Flatter to deceive is the term that springs to mind. Looks great at a glance but doesn't stand up under closer scrutiny. I don't know about the BOXXER,MTK thing. You could be right. But I've also noticed a lot of MTK, Probellum connections also.

It has more to do with incompetence on Matchroom’s part than boxers not being motivated.

Look at it this way: if Hearn didn’t have the luxury of DAZN’s huge capital where all he has to do is put on fights and had to use Matchroom’s money to develop boxers into draws - to make profits. Matchroom would be bankrupt right now with how they ruin boxers due to terrible matchmaking. When you break the bank to sign boxers and you keep ruining them with terrible matchmaking before you start making money off them - there’s no way you won’t go bankrupt.
He’s just lucky AJ dropped on his lap and his success got him a billion dollar cheque to rinse without having to do the real job. If he ever loses the DAZN deal - Matchroom under him would go bankrupt within 5 yrs, trust me.
Regardless, no decent young prospects should sign with Matchroom unless they want to get ruined before they hit their prime.Comment

Lol I doubt it. And his match making isn't as bad as Warrens. In any case he puts up options and the fighters and their team's choose the opponent's most of the time. He doesn't force anybody to fight anyone they don't want to. That's more a Haymon thing. Tell me some examples of his horrendous match making. I try to stay objective. Try and convince me.
