Benavidez is not a "natural" 168. He's bigger and he should have sooner or later get his future @ 175. He looks fatty. Compare him with Morell...

Canelo will beat beterbiev. Canelo had gotten stronger and overall better on the rise. I tell you what it’s going to take to beat him, someone with excellent skills who hits hard enough to keep him off. Ggg was the man to do it at middleweight but he got too content jabbing on the second fight. There are times when you’re going to have to make Canelo feel that moving forward is going to be more pain than it’s worth. Oddly enough Lara and Mayweather were able to do this. Plant had the right idea but even he at times wasn’t coming forward enough and he paid for it when he moved back to the ropes one too many times. Just like wilder against fury, plant made the mistake of going to the ropes too often. You have to stand your ground with bullies and hurt them and Canelo has a bully style

No he shouldn't, every Supermiddleweight is already taller than him, but he can only continue to dominate big guys so long, light heavy is too heavy for him.

Fast Eddie talking like he has any say in who Canelo fights or even relevant in Canelo's career at this juncture. DAZN is about to come knocking and asking him what have you done for me lately with all the big budget we 've given you. So much for taking over the American market. He may have to go back begging Sky for another chance if he continues putting on fights the likes of Benn Algeri, Haney Diaz

I don't have any problem with what Eddie is saying but I would rather see him stay at 168 and forget about LHW's and CW's.

              FYI
Eddie Hearn is relevant in Canelo's career.
He promoted 3 Canelo Fights he can share his opinion on who he Canelo fights next

I like your analysis, but my point was not about Canelo's skills. We all know they are there. But rather the careful selection of opponents following the formula of: fight=if dangerous and elite then =>35. Otherwise, no fight. This formula will be even more applicable with someone like Beterbiev, which is why I don't anticipate a fight between them in 2022. Best case scenario Beterbiev has a really poor performance early in 2022 then in late 2022 they'll fight.

I also think GGG was Canelo's kryptonite, but with 8 years apart between them there was no chance for them to fight when both would be in their prime. And Canelo.is too good to fight him post prime. And still GGG definitely beat him the 1st time, I'll be willing to debate the 2nd.

DAZN probably needs Canelo back if it wants to keep the lights on. Subscriber retention isn’t looking good otherwise — that’s not my opinion, it’s the view of their boss who didn’t hold back a few weeks ago.

I’m not sure Canelo thinks Hearn’s offer of Bivol, Smith and Buatsi equates to the same caliber of scalp as Beterbiev. He doesn’t need Eddy or, at least for now, anybody or any platform. No fighter in any management company is going to turn down a dance with him.

Same way PBC promoted his last one and Don King has a chance for his next one and then likely back to PBC again. Canelo is a free lancer and the major player in the sport atm so he moves how he wants to move. Everybody on here knows he and Reynoso decides who he fights so Eddie running his mouth is of no consequence but you matchroom fanboys get but.thurt when fast Eddie is called out on his bullsh.it. Andrade and Haney still waiting on him to deliver major fights. He should focus on those guys before they bounce cos then he will really have to go back to UK for real.
