I once called it a tune up fight, it isn't. Marquez isn't as good as he used to be at 126. Mayweather isn't as good as he used to be at 130-140, no one here is in their physical prime but they're not too far off. Don't get it twisted.

Sure, I agree that Mayweather is trying to take the "easy" road as he has been known to do but I think that he might be underestimating the skill of JMM even though he says otherwise.

          We can only hope....

If it always comes down to whether or not a possible opponent can "lure" Floyd into signing for him...by looking old, bad, unskilled, or injured, et..., then that goes right to the core of what Mayweather has been since after Castillo frightened him for life. That was years ago.

Clearly Mayweather's legacy is tarnished beyond repair, especially after he skipped out on Cotto. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Floyd may end his career undefeated, but I GUARANTEE, he will not be highly regarded in the boxing history books. He got rich, that's what he wanted, that's really all he cares about.

Very true, JLC frightened him SO BAD, Mayweather thought to himself hmm, "Immediate Rematch" and did just that.

If he's past his prime, he's not past it by much. He's still a great fighter.

He has definitely made it apparent that getting rich is his main goal but for me, it is his unprofessional attitude that turns me off to him.

Witty reply..........but YOU KNOW what I mean. Castillo won that first fight by every account but the crooked judges'.

No, I don't know what you mean. You said JLC scared him, then why the immediate rematch?
