As I’ve said the result was never in doubt, Porter did well in spots but he was consistently walking on to stuff. Crawford worked him out after round 6 and then he literally forced Porter’s corner to throw the towel in, you can’t say stopping Shawn was unimpressive without having an agenda.

I felt he was in full control of the fight, not saying Shawn didn’t have some moments but the result was never in question for me.

Porter’s own corner stopped the bout dude, you don’t throw the towel in unless the fights become one sided. Porter was competitive early and put some rounds in the bank but after Crawford figured him out he was in full control of the fight.

The guy got nine lives. You'll never see any sense of urgency in him.
Beating a guy who everyone rates as the top guy to beat in the division
doesn't motivate him at all. You rarely see anything like it in this sport.
Or it's become normal in this sport.

Spence has been doing a lot of talking about why the fight shouldn't happen

It was far more dominant than Spence looked when he just about sc****d past Porter yet you gave Spence plenty of credit for that win. You are way too PB centric to be able to post without bias young man.

I believe that both fighters will move up to 154 next year after that fight happens.
I don't agree with everything Champ says here but Spence definitely did say he was going to take the in-house belts and then go for Crawford. Technically he is still doing it in the order he said.

But he did label it "strap season" only to then pick a Lightweight with no strap and then a Welter with no strap.

Bud couldn’t sell out small arenas in his hometown in Nebraska. He has to chase the big fights because he brings little to the table business wise.
Spence isn’t a major star but he’s been in bigger fights in bigger venues with better PPV buys.
Leverage is all about your options. Spence has multiple paths to nice paydays at welterweight or moving up.
Bud decided to stay with Arum for so long which drove down his value and at his age time isn’t in his side.

People need to let this fight go. Spence is doing the “heavy lifting” but they are also freezing Crawford out. After Ugas it’ll be a Mando and then a PBC super showdown with Thurman. Epic stuff. Let this go. Crawford vs Vergil Ortiz is a great fight, more dangerous than Ugas, if he gets passed that Crawford vs Josh Taylor will be an awesome fight that will surprise people, guaranteed that Taylor is being underrated. And Josh Taylor> Shawn Porter, Brook, Ugas etc. by miles and a meeting for the history books.

And we all know you hate the PBC so your bias is well documented.
