rjj was fighting at light heavy whilst calzaghe was in his prime, they eventually fought after calzaghe had cleaned out super middle, including beating Kessler and smashing Jeff lacy to piece's in the US, who was in his prime and being hyped up by america like he was the next big thing, and let's not forget about the famous "I ain't gonna lose to no whiteboy" comment leading up to the bout with Hopkins only to proceed to get his *ss kicked by a whiteboy, calzaghe would have beat both rjj and Hopkins if they fought earlier, simply because he was the better boxer, not the most appealing style and sometimes he would slap with his punching but he was better and it's still til this day so hard for Americans to take cos they hold rjj up as probably the best they ever produced yet he wasn't the best in the world at any point

the 3 bolded comments only prove that you don’t know much about boxing. Calzaghe didn’t fight Lacy in the US, Lacy travelled to the UK. And no chance in hell Calzaghe beats a prime Roy. Roy would’ve splattered him. Calzaghe avoided the fight and only moved up after Roy was washed up. Calzaghe was known for not wanting to take risks and only did so once they had been extremely minimized. So like I said, he only came to the US to face two 40 plus yr olds. And Roy was at one point the best fighter in the world. No boxer in the history of your country even comes close to a prime Roy Jones. The highlight of Uk boxing history is the Jamaican Canadian Lennox Lewis who didn’t even learn to box in the Uk. Step your knowledge up.

You want these kids to stop being emotional? Good luck mate, not only are these kids emotional but they obsess with other posters. I’ve slapped so many of these booger eaters on ignore it’s not even funnyHow about a little less emotional rambling and a little more substance next time? Benn is telling everyone he’s top 5 and in the next sentence asks for Broner or winner of khan vs Brook. Typical delusional Brit talk and once he crosses the pond and actually starts to face valid opposition, he’ll be exposed just like the rest were from Hatton to khan to Naz etc.Comment

Your right on the location of the fight, I misremembered that, but your dead wrong he would have beaten calzaghe, calzaghe wasn't exactly in his prime when they faced off, the fact is he beat rjj, absolutely bewildered him with his fast hands and it eats u alive, the way he beat him u know deep down he had no chance at any age to beat him, levels bruv, step up your knowledge, and supress that undeserved ego a lil bit cos your boy got battered many moons ago and somehow it's still killing uthe 3 bolded comments only prove that you don’t know much about boxing. Roy was over 40 and 3-3 with 2 brutal ko losses by the time Calzaghe grew the balls to face him. Prime for prime no one credible ranks Calzaghe over Roy in any way whether it’s head to head or historically. Only a few delusional Brits with inferiority complexes. That win for Calzaghe was like Holmes beating Ali or Camacho beating sugar Ray Leonard. I understand this truth minimizes the minted boxing history you have to celebrate in comparison to a more accomplished boxing region but it is what it is. The highlight of Calzaghe’s careee is beating two past 40 yr old men and 1 was shot to sh** by that time. Don’t worry, you can always celebrate Naz beating Kevin Kelly and Hatton beating Tyszu. Although come to think of it, kelly and a Tyszu were clearly past their best too.

U really think rjj slowed down that much that it made a difference to what would have happened in rjj's prime? Please son, wake up, watch the fight again, as u clearly have blocked it out and wiped any memory of it from your brain, he didn't just beat rjj he gave him the biggest boxing lesson he's ever had, rjj looked confused throughout, whether he lost a slight bit of speed or had a more suspect chin than usual means nothing when u get outboxed so thoroughly, u already know this but your g*y pride won't let acknowledge it, he was the better man and boxer and again it's killing u still, there's good therapist's out there that can help u blud, your not aloneRoy was over 40 and 3-3 with 2 brutal ko losses by the time Calzaghe grew the balls to face him. Yes and so does the rest of the world. 3-3 with 2 brutal ko losses and his only wins were against two nobody’s and a fat coming out of retirement Felix Trinidad. You know he was washed up and most importantly, Joe knew he was washed up. I see that you’re taking this personal which is why you Brits are better off sticking to cricket and sipping tea. You’re too emotional for boxing and your inferiority is getting the best of you. Live in your delusional world where you believe you have a valid point. You Brits are know for being delusional just like Benn, khan, naz Hatton etc. Uk boxing other than fury and maybe Taylor who will still likely lose if he leaves 140, is the minor leagues deal with it.

U see I'm taking it personal? Have u been proof reading your posts son? U sound like your about to cry from something that happened years ago, British boxing has a long and proud history, we may not have the history the US does but a population size 6 fold more will do that for u, at no point have I ever said we have a better history, what I did say with massive confidence cos u know, we saw the damn fight, was calzaghe was miles above rjj, and even a prime rjj would have lost to a past prime calzaghe, I get the feeling your black and this is taking a real battering on you supremacist psyche but don't let it get u too down bruh, there's been plenty black guys who've got the better of a whitey before, just not this one unfortunately for uYes and so does the rest of the world. 3-3 with 2 brutal ko losses and his only wins were against two nobody’s and a fat coming out of retirement Felix Trinidad. Since you want to mention proof reading, allow me to point out your plethora of gramatical errors in bold, including nonsensical sentences, improper use of your vs you’re, the most absurd run on sentence ever with multiple comas where periods should be. Clearly you’re worked up and have even resorted to incorrectly assuming what race I am. End of the day, no credible list rates Calzaghe over Roy historically and no one credible thinks their primes are even remotely comparable. I know this is a staple of greatness for you in your lifetime where a white guy from the UK beat a damaged goods old Roy, so you can live in that delusional place while everyone else knows the truth. I’m done embarrassing you and reading your incoherent rants. I have better stuff to do on Xmas than debate with a delusional moron who has fantasies of juggling Calzaghe’s nuts on his tonsils.
