The HBO team is legendary. All of them together was a great listen. Roy Jones and Kellerman are my all time favorite.

Atlas knows his stuff but goes off on tangents and gets very biased. I slurs and sounds drunk a lot of times and he’s a crude listen, takes forever to make his point too. Can’t listen to that dude as a commentator. At all.

Yea Atlas is very emotional and passionate. He has quite a romantic point of view of boxing. Don’t let that fool u. He knows his sheeit. If I was a boxer and needed a coach. I’d pick Ward, Pauli and Emanuel Stuart.

He didn't. He started slow and maybe gave away the first 2-2 1/2 rounds. After that he started turning up the heat,while dealing with a huge bloody gash on his forehead. Broke the guy down physically and mentally. This is all the common deflection tactic of "oh,he looked bad,he doesn't deserve the canelo fight(while he's still a threat)". Meanwhile team canelo is licking their chops at taking the belt off of bellews leftovers.

Ward has become a salty hater. He’s just mad cuz Canelo has more courage than he does. If I remember correctly Ward retired after the Second Kovalev fight instead of going for undisputed when Adonis Stevenson was calling him out. And he seen that Bivol and Beterbiev were the next contenders coming up. Wasn’t he the one who said “Canelo would never fight Beterbiev it’s a ****** risk”. He also said “ Canelo better leave Beterbiev and Bivol alone too, stay away from both them guys”. Thats his mentality, to play it safe. But that’s not Canelos way of thinking. And he’s jealous because Canelo is going towards the fire instead of walking away from it.

I agree with Ward here. Sorry but not sorry. I just don't see why guys rank Beterbiev so high when he's rather robotic and easy to hit. Again, he has a way to get his shots off but he takes too many early on before he gets settled in....that won't work against Canelo.

We'd have to see a different Artur...a more defensive Artur....will that mesh well with his current style? If you're busy being defensive and that's not your style, you're gonna wanna revert back to being more aggressive. Canelo isn't all that hard to hit either but his defense is far more superior than that of a Beterbiev.

Ward is just softening the blow for Canelo haters when he gets in there and makes Artur look like ordinary. We're begging for this fight but don't realize we're asking a lot of Artur in what would arguably be his biggest fight. That man ONLY knows how to fight one way and that will be his undoing.

Again, Canelo's not unbeatable but the last person that beat him was Floyd...nearly 9 years ago and I don't see anybody capable of putting on that type of performance. Canelo stops Artur and we'll be looking for yet another guy to beat Canelo.

I think canelo wins by decision.......I don't get why people are mad @ ward, he's never said this about authur b4 now & he's seen authur fight prior to this, I feel like he definitely saw something

I feel Ward is laying the ground work to discredit Artur. …because he knows an eventual matchup with Canelo is on the horizon.

Roy Jones obliterates these two in commentary, and you never had the sense that Roy threw shade at anyone, though he could have been tempted to do so, given he’s one of the baddest to ever lace them up.

Agree, not to mention the amount of butthurt Ward's suffering due to watching an undersized ginger surpass his SMW legacy in record time

he helped Plant in training just so Canelo couldn't unify the division, something Ward failed to do
