Ward’s a clown. Said Canelo and Tank where cherry-picking opponents when he himself helped Plant train for Canelo and said for months Plant was a big challenge and could win.

I feel Ward is laying the ground work to discredit Artur. …because he knows an eventual matchup with Canelo is on the horizon.

Roy Jones obliterates these two in commentary, and you never had the sense that Roy threw shade at anyone, though he could have been tempted to do so, given he’s one of the baddest to ever lace them up.

Ward understands boxing better than 90% of the top 20 boxers, so I’m not even going to get into the morons on here. Pauli, Atlas & Emmanuel Stuart know their craft & are very knowledgeable as well. Sometimes Pauli and Atlas get emotional and loose focus but they know their sheeit.
As far as NON BOXING commentators go I liked the old man on HBO Larry Merchant. That drunk made me laugh. I also like Max Kellerman & Jim Lampley. They add great color to their commentating.
Roy Jones, Bradley and a couple other boxer know their stuff too. They just aren’t as articulate.

I agree with Ward here. Sorry but not sorry. I just don't see why guys rank Beterbiev so high when he's rather robotic and easy to hit. Again, he has a way to get his shots off but he takes too many early on before he gets settled in....that won't work against Canelo.

We'd have to see a different Artur...a more defensive Artur....will that mesh well with his current style? If you're busy being defensive and that's not your style, you're gonna wanna revert back to being more aggressive. Canelo isn't all that hard to hit either but his defense is far more superior than that of a Beterbiev.

Ward is just softening the blow for Canelo haters when he gets in there and makes Artur look like ordinary. We're begging for this fight but don't realize we're asking a lot of Artur in what would arguably be his biggest fight. That man ONLY knows how to fight one way and that will be his undoing.

Again, Canelo's not unbeatable but the last person that beat him ON THE CARDS was Floyd...nearly 9 years ago and I don't see anybody capable of putting on that type of performance. Canelo stops Artur and we'll be looking for yet another guy to beat Canelo.

The HBO team is legendary. All of them together was a great listen. Roy Jones and Kellerman are my all time favorite.

Atlas knows his stuff but goes off on tangents and gets very biased. I slurs and sounds drunk a lot of times and he’s a crude listen, takes forever to make his point too. Can’t listen to that dude as a commentator. At all.
