Nobody has more confidence in any human than Canelo fans have in Canelo. According to them, he’s never avoided any opponent, never received favorable scoring, never purposely used banned substances, always chases the greatest challenges and for the fights he didn’t make from 160-175, it’s not worth making anyway because he’d dominate whoever it is anyway. They have more delusional belief in Canelo than Reynoso has in him and more than Canelo has in himself. That’s why he’s fighting this mutomboo guy. It’s equivalent to how cult followers worship cult leaders.

It's pretty sad if you really look at it. I don't know if in the history of boxing there's been a more overpaid drug cheat.

Canelo fought him at 175, then the salty fans said he was old and done. Despite before the KO Kovalev was actually slightly outboxing Canelo with the jab. One judge had it 76-76 at time of stoppage. Another judge had Canelo up by only 1 round. There were many scorecards that had Kovalev up before the KO. It was competitive but ended in a KO for Canelo, so they couldn’t give him any credit. Even though Canelo fought him at the full 175lb limit, coming off back to back good wins over Eleider Alvarez and Anthony Yarde, ranked #2 at 175 by The Ring, and showing he earned his WBO title by taking it back from Eleider and then defending it vs a young heavy hitter like Yarde.

Well he actually lost to GGG twice. So what's your point. And Kovalev was so ****ing shot it's pathetic..You're actually excited that a shot to **** fighter won a couple rounds against cheatboy. You must have **** your pants when Mayweather won every round.

This a perfect opportunity for Canelo to show that he is not Cherry Picking. Can't wait till he signs the contract to fight Beterbiev lool

It is a cherry pick. An insidious, sneaky and typical cherry pick by Team Canelo. Beterbiev looked a bit off vs Browne, he is showing the first sighs of weakness, like GGG looked against Jacobs. GGG had just hit the point where he wasn't a ko monster anymore and Boom Canelo picks him (and loses but that's another story). Why didn't Canelo pick Beterbiev instead of Kovalev a couple years ago when Beterbiev was in his prime? Because Krusher wasn't Krusher anymore, looked decrepit against Yarde and was an acknowledged drunk.

Sad, really sad. But it will be Beterbiev's biggest payday, so that's something anyway.

Canelo is a good fighter but his fans are the worse. Delusional nationalistic fans that can’t accept the truth sometimes. When was the last time Canelo fought a actual fighter that will fight back? Some of us are boxing fans first and what you’re witnessing is something you won’t again see in your lifetime. It’s a shame that hatred of a boxer blinds you to such an extent that you’d not relish in watching greatness.
