Ward vs Crawford if both were in the same weightclass

Who was the better/more skilled fighter? Ward had better defense and accuracy while Crawford was the better finisher. Ward was also more athletic and the better mid-range and inside fighter.

Styles make fights. This is going to sound funny. Crawford is limited compared to Ward. He’s a natural counterpuncher., who needs room. That’s it. He likes to set u up. Ward can counterpunch very well AND maul you AND he’s also very smart and disciplined. There is a game plan to beat Crawford. Few have the mind and talent to implement it. Ward can. Ive seen Crawford forced too toe to toe. Ward would make him. Only man I think could of beat Ward if they way the same is Mayweather or Whitaker.

Crawfords last fight did not impress me and it looked like porter took a dive

How about both of them versus a tyrannosaurus rex assuming all three weighed the same and fought in the same era? (unified rules of boxing being used)

You couldn't see Crawford as a natural MW?

Porter is on the same level as Kovalev, wouldn't you agree?

No, I can't. Nor could I see Ward as a natural junior welterweight or welterweight. Both campaigned consistently within about a 10-12lbs range throughout their careers (albeit 30 pounds apart from each other). It's not quite the same as imagining Chocolatito as a HW or Wilder as a flyweight but for me, there are too many variables that would be need to be sorted out to engage in a mythical Matchup. That's just me however, please proceed....

                    - - Wart closer to a club fighter needing butts, hitting on the break, elbows, low blows and heavy grappling, and advantageous home officiating.

Craw a pure boxer/puncher with a nasty personality when it comes to finishing a fighter, so why would he want to fight a Wart?
