Point taken on Morrell and Munoz, but as Kiko himself proved, you can never take a former champ lightly.
Terrazas took three years off after Santa Cruz. But at the time of the fight he was riding an 11 fight winning streak, ranked #1, had just beaten Mijares for the title, and had also beaten Montiel a year and charge earlier. It was a fantastic win for Santa Cruz at the time. Terrazas coming out of retirement and losing some fights later doesn't change the context of the fight when it took place.
Yeah it was a good win for Leo but if I'm being honest I thought Terrazas lost the Mijares fight. Either way it was still an impressive showcase for Leo given the fact that Terrazas had been on the rise at that time.
