There’s a bunch of haters I see on here towards Andrade, but I guarantee he beats that A(ssss) trust that! It’s not his fought that he’s a gifted but somewhat boring champion but very talented in his own right and highly avoided too.

Can't say I've ever seen him fight, heard he's decent though.
This will be the 3rd time Andrade has fought someone in The Ring's Top 10 throughout his 13 year career.

Joe Louis got his first title shot in 32 pro fights. And it was the only title any one can fight for. Not 1 of 4. Not a version of 1 of the 4. Not a made up one.
But now we have to watch fighters with piss poor resumes like Andrade, pretend to be a champion, and then guys with 10 fights getting a shot at this pretend champion.
The Ring should be the only title. Their rankings are way better than the ABC title rankings with their obscure top 10 ranked fighters.
I wish I can say someone needs to get rid of Andrade, but he has proven to be very elusive and all talk. Ducked Charlo and Lara. Wants the big money fights without earning them. Please retire, no one will care.

Zhanibek is tough, has some pop and can box, but his defence isn't great which makes him very open for counters. Also, he doesn't cut the ring that well. Because of this, Andrade should get the decision fairly easily.

I can't think of any other current champion in any division that hasn't had at least one (1!) premiere fight during their title reign. Andrade just keeps getting the short end of the stick. Even Gary Russell Jr fighting once a millennium gets high profile fights against other champs/marketable fighters. At this point, there is no excuse. The establishment is just robbing this dude. He has the pedigree, stays out of trouble, is charismatic, can box and slug when he wants to, yet nobody wants to fight him. YES - I know, he signed with Matchroom/DAZN because that's where all the middleweights were at the time and Hearn is also complicit in this too. You can't keep calling out Charlo, when you got GGG, Munguia, and HAD Canelo sitting RIGHT THERE.
You can't have it both ways with Andrade. He can't be boring to watch, but knocks down and gets stoppages on fighters. He can't be a duck when dude is literally putting Hearn on blast, interrupting press conferences, on Twitter calling dudes out for years. Yes - he may have ducked Charlo/Lara years ago, but he's calling Charlo out now, and its not that Charlo got older and can't fight. They're both in their primes. For that matter, EVERY BOXER AND MANAGER DUCKS opponents; it's called matchmaking and maximizing your earnings. It's about fighting the people at the right time that works for you. There will always be some fighter in the division that is not getting the call that is supposed to be a threat, a young bull, something, whatever. The reality is that all these other fighters have the opportunity to unify and TAKE ANDRADE's belt but they don't want to and there's a reason for that and them being radio silent about it. They know when they get in there they just might be outboxed/outclassed and its a lot of easier to jump on the Canelo sweepstakes tour in hopes of getting beat for the bag.

I don't see much in Janibek he's got a good left hand and a decent right hook but he doesn't seem very fast and if a past prime N'Dam can go rounds with him I'm sure Andrade can too. I could see Andrades speed being a factor in this fight but at least this time he's fighting a live body that can possibly hurt him. If he can make a statement I'll give him credit as a 160 lb champion because Janibek presents more of a risk than Quigley, Williams and Keeler combined.
None of those guys you mentioned mean anything on his resume. Past prime N’Dam and then Brant.
You just reenforced the entire point of my post.
Dudes who wouldn’t be champion in a 1 belt era, becoming champion today. Or winning some version of one of the 4 titles per weight class.
It’s like that is the go-to accomplishment to show someone is good. “He’s a former champion”, “he beat that other champion”. It doesn’t matter when there’s 24 different belts you can win per weight class. Champion means nothing. The only meaningful champion is The Ring or Lineal champion.
Man, Brant won that ****** “World” version of the WBA, by beating Murata. Then Murata beat him. Like who are these dudes? (This is a rhetorical question). Did they beat Canelo, GGG, Jacobs for their title?
How the heck are you a champion at MW without even beating any of the top 3 guys there? Brant and Murata would both get completely destroyed by GGG, or MW Canelo. Only 3 real worthy champions at 160 in the last 5 years…Canelo, GGG, Jacobs.
Boxing fans need to stop pretending like these dudes winning these cheap titles means anything. It means nothing. These titleholders have beaten no one to prove they are champion.
That is the entire point. I don’t care about that Kazakh dude’s win over Brant or past it N’dam. He is getting a title shot over a guy who won a vacant title. This will be billed as a championship fight on paper. A fake championship fight. Stop this man. Speak up against it. Don’t condone such tragedy. Fans have a voice, we just don’t use it. Too many fans sit back and condone all this crap. None of these dudes deserve to be called champions. Right now at MW, only GGG, that’s it. He’s the only champion I see there. And he will destroy that fake ass champ Murata.
Imagine in the 1930s, Tony Galento going around parading himself as one of 4 HW “champions”? That is what we see today in boxing. Dudes who would never, ever be a champion in a 1 belt era, being champion today. And fans just go along with it. All these fake champions. It’s ridiculous. Maybe I am alone in thinking this way and everyone else loves all this fake champion BS.TheWinners likes this.

Fck it. Let’s get 6 more sanctioning bodies to bring major titles in here. Let’s have 10 champions per weight class.
Oh wait, we already have like 10 title holders per weight class now. So nevermind. We got the WBA world and super. We have WBC, we have the interim champions. WBO, IBF. We have the silver champions. We got the franchise champion. We got the IBO of course.
Word is WBA is getting rid of the “world” title and will create the “Super Duper” version of the title, which will be better than the regular “Super” title. The WBA Super Duper champion will be considered as the premier WBA champion.
