Weak might be the wrong word. Inflated is a better one. Is it good? Yes but could be better. He is very selective in his opponent choice.

If Beter had that frenetic Maidana/Porter style, he could give Nelo some genuine problems. As it stands, he seems like a basic guy with power. The ''let's hit each other until you go down'' kind of fighter. Like if Margarito had skill.

If Beter's plan is to ''outslug'' Nelo, he will only make Nelo's night easier.

If all that's true why hasn't he fought David Benavidez, Jermall Charlo, Demetrius Andrade, or fought the rematch with GGG, 2 years ago all of
those fight's can happen at 168 pounds.
Now there's a young lion by the name of David Morrell, who'll be ready by late next year with only 9 or 10 fight's, he is that damn good.
Then you got Beterbiev, and Bivol at 175 pounds if and when Alvarez is ready to make the move up to that weight.
He has no business moving up to Cruiser Weight, and facing the legitimate champion's at that weight, let alone moving up to the Bridge Weight
to challenge Oscar Rivas.
