Speedy is legitimately good but I don't think he beats Ortiz. Beating Rocha and beating Vergil are two different levels of challenge. Not sure he has enough slick/stick to keep Ortiz off of him.
One thing that has bothered me about Rashidi's career is his inactivity at times. He's had several years where he's fought only once. He should at least have stay-busy type fights. Since he beat Rocha, he hasn't fought yet Rocha has managed to fight twice.

Good points. Rocha's last fight was pretty good too from what I remember.
The guy losing the important crossroads fight definitely shouldn't be higher up on my radar.

I think Rashidi is a very good fighter but prior to the Rocha victory, his best wins were probably Gomez and Mosquera and he's had some stretches of inactivity. He's athletic and has some speed but I'm not so sure how much pop he has. The same Mosquera who took him the distance was blasted out by Sammy Vasquez in a round.
I've seen Vergil Ortiz against an entirely different level of opponent and prevail. I think Ellis style is one that could cause problems but I'm not sure Ellis can withstand that kind of aggression for 12 rounds.

Yeah my question with Rashidi is how deep is his skill set
can he be versatile when necessary
he’s a great athletic specimen
dude makes all the other athletic black fighters today look slow
