"fight should of been stopped on cuts" controversy

do you guys agree with some of the sentiment i been hearing...some people think the Beterbiev fight should of stopped and he should of got the L because of his bad cut, some argued the same for Fury having that bad cut against Otto Wallin..

what are your general thoughts on these types of controversies?

Didn’t watch the fight but would it of mattered? It still goes to scorecards. Was he winning the fight or would going to the cards have changed the outcome?

ref in fury-wallin ruled it a punch so fury would have lost if he couldnt continue. this was ruled as a headbutt so it would have gone to the cards and beterbiev would have won presumably since after 4-5 rounds he was clearly ahead

There is no scenario where Browne gets a win. Cut was caused by a clash of heads and after 4 Browne wasn’t winning

The cut happened in round 3 so that would have led to a No-Contest. After 4 I had the fight even so that would have just resulted in a draw. I don't see how Beterbiev would have lost the fight in any scenario since Browne clearly lost both the 3rd and the 4th.

would of been a draw since Browne won the first two rounds and Beterbiev won 3 and 4

That's how they robbed Vitali off his W against Lewis

If the fighter and his corner are willing to continue, then let the fight continue

to me, any bull**** W on cuts isn't a real victory

just like Lewis' bull**** W over Vitali. It surely helped Lewis that the doctor was black on that one
