One of the most underrated performances ever? Chisora is a warrior, one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen and the dude literally made him say no mas. Eddie Hearn just described chisora as ‘not human’.
Tyson fury made a prime Chisora QUIT.

Weren't you predicting Wilder would beat Fury? I bookmarked your post if I remember. Hahaha.
I had to throw that jab in there my brother. You are right, it is a very underrated performance and Chisora is a greater fighter than many give him credit. His resume isn't pretty if you look at it on face value, but if you look at it in context of how he actually won some of those fights and how close the fights were, it boosts his value.
I hope Chisora continues to entertain the fans if his heart is still in it -
1) 'prime' doesnt mean alot. I'm in my 30s and a lot smarter about my health, diet and conditioning than i was in my 20s.
Chisora was younger, fitter, but a lot dumber. Everyone knows Chisora has stepped up a gear in the last 5 yrs. He has said himself that his loss to Agit Kabayel was a turning point for him. Plus i think with more money in the sport now, chisora has taken it more seriously. He used to earn about £10 a fight back in the frank warren/boxnation days. I don't think he gave a toss back then.
2) Haye stopped him..and that was a post-broken toe permanently broken version of Haye too...
in fact id argue that the 2014 version of Fury was superior to this version. His mindset and conditioning back then was a different level. He was hungry and angry.
coming back from 3 yrs of coke to beat beyonce wilder, is that a great acheivement? i mean, triangle theories....look what chisora did to Spiltzka?

Chisora has 12 losses and his best wins are Artur Szpilka, Carlos Takam, Malik Scott, and Kevin Johnson.
He's the definition of a Euro-level gatekeeper. He's been in a lot of fun fights but he's never been a legitimate contender.Comment

David Haye obliterated the prime Chisora. And Haye was probably slightly past his best.
Derek is tough as old boots but he's basically a C grade HW. Never been more than that.Comment

David Haye was the first fighter to beat Derek Chisora 'And by fighting him head on, force vs Force'.
Tyson Fury did not fight Chisora in their rematch head on, he did what he was supposed to do stylistically 'And utilized his dimensions'. Fury did attempt to fight Chisora head on during their first fight, and he was just caught up in a all out chaotic war 'And was pushed, in a extremely competitive fight' even though Chisora was out of condition and weighing in at 280 + pounds.
Only Dillian Whyte & David Haye have fought Chisora head on and totally canceled out his momentum via knock-out.
Tyson Fury has never knocked out Derek Chisora, or totally canceled out his momentum 'Don Charles stopped the fight in the corner'.
I honestly think David Haye's win is the most impressive, as Chisora was truly at his peak then and coming off his best performance in pushing Vitali Kiltschko. David Haye was weighing in at 211 pounds vs Chisora 247 pounds, and even still he still met force with force and canceled out Chisora's momentum 'A underrated feat of power and physical strength from David Haye'.
Haye was the first fighter, to ever knock down Chisora 'The first fighter to ever seriously hurt Chisora'. It would be another 7 years until Derek Chisora was ever knocked to the canvas again, and that was against Dillian Whyte during their rematch.
Tyson Fury did not fight Derek Chisora head on, he fought him the same way Lennox Lewis fought David Tua. These were both impressive performances, but really? Fury was just doing what he was supposed to do stylistically.
David Haye has the most impressive win over Derek Chisora, due to how he fought him 'And due to the stage of Chisora's career that he faced him'.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 12-18-2021, 08:03 PM.Comment
