So he finds out that boxing is no joke, it makes me sick seeing this clown make a mockery of this great sport. Many great fighters have died in that ring, yet this guy treats the sport as one great big joke to help monetise his following. F*** him, I hope he gets seriously hurt.Comment

I can believe it considering he mentions getting a bunch of concussions playing football as a kid, then add the sparring he’s probably done with pros who probably hit hard ..it makes senseComment

Doubt it tbh, he's probably just overly sensitive to what he's feeling. Meaning that he always slurred his speech/had some memory loss, but never noticed it until he started boxing. Then the dude started to correlate one with the other
People do it all of the time tbh. I know some dude who thought he had brain damage from getting elbowed in his face during basketball. Dude went home and said that he kept forgetting where he put things lol in reality, he probably always forgot where he put stuff, but became super focused on what he was feeling due to the hit. Hyper sensitivity is pretty commonComment

There are different types of genes that make you more or
less able to remove the plaque from your brain after trauma, that’s why some people can go on and on like it’s nothing and others end up punch drunk with cte fastComment

That's exactly the reason that I had originally left the sport.
Looking back, it was just what I loved to do. I should have just rode it out but I thought that I had a kid on the way................Rockin'

At least he trains hard, makes weight and takes the sport seriously unlike a lot of the so called professionals.
The sports been a complete laughing stock for years.Comment

I don't see how he is bad for the sport he trains hard and takes it seriously. He brings in a huge number of casuals and speaks up against the politics.
He, his team, his money can't drag the sport out the dumps but he's not afraid to try.
I think he is good for the sport but some won't and its going to be because he likely makes a mockery of the sport alright when he beats fighters he flat out shouldn't be really but hardwork beats talent as the old saying goes.
I think its the actual 'boxers' and promoters that make a mockery of the sport not some celeb having a few bouts and bringing in big numbersComment

Bull****.
This is the same guy who repeatedly stated how important he is to the sport….something along the lines of being the highest paid and the most viewed fighter this year.
So, yeah…I can believe he’d embellish head injuries and so on. He talks slow anyway and he’s usually stoned so WTF are we even suppose to think anymore?
Paul is on one but fun to watch!Comment
