Watched this back while I wasn't at work. I didn't hear the bell then and it was still a little hard to hear when i replayed it. I think they should have given Soro some time to see if he was fit to continue and let the fight go on.

Has to be a NC. No way you can end the fight after not protecting the fighter, after allowing him to be hit past the bell. Horrible for all involved.

I couldn't hear the bell. You see things like this often when high profile fights are fought in areas with inexperienced commissions (you see it because it's televised). Then again we see these things I'm established commissions too.

Soro was hurt before the bell but who knows if he would have been stopped in subsequent rounds. I haven't been a huge Madrimov fan, he can crack some but he fades a bit and can be hit.

That's exactly how it should have played if everyone had had their wits about 'em. Acknowledge the mistake then immediately start it up again. Ain't perfect cos both guys already had that massive adrenaline dump from thinking they won/lost but as long as it gets rolling again quickly it's probably OK... once 3 or 5 minutes have passed though you gotta call it an N/C. Can't go from 100 - zero then back up to 100 again just like that.
