Benevidez should target Morrell next. Charlo or Andrade should also gun for him as their 168 debut if they want canelo. The reality these guys want to fight lower level.opposotion and wait for canelo to call rather than take a risk.
If canelo goes to cruiser for his May fight, I can see him staying up at light heavy for September rather than going all the way back down to 168, so these guys are going to have to start eliminating each other.

Agreed. If canelos stay at lh, he should vacate 168 belts.
That's probably a good possibility as well. He won them and became unified @ 168 which was his goal, so they're not important now.

I predict he vacates. 168lb belts are nothing for him now. He can even continue fighting at 168 and not be a champ, but just choose who he prefers an opponent.

Yea, but I would rather he vacate than do the franchise thing. Too many fans and haters mouth off on the franchise title, and think it’s a tool to duck fighters.
