Loma resume destroys Tank's, but anyone who says resume is the only thing that matters is foolish, that's the facts, could Tank win the fight? For sure he could.

I mean that’s a career high payday for Tank for a fight I thought he would easily win. So why not take a one off fight on DAZN, beat their fighter, & then go back to your network with a big bag? Then the next time Eddie wants one of his guys to fight Tank, Mayweather Promotions makes them come to Showtime.

It’s not like Tank fighting 1 time on DAZN is gonna have any longtime major impact on DAZNs popularity or growth as a company. They’ve had Canelo & AJ fight about a dozen times & look where they still are in comparison to the other networks.

Doesn’t make much sense. DAZN is no threat to Showtime or ESPN. Just like ESPN & Showtime have been able coexist and thrive for years now. I think they just don’t like Eddie Hearn for whatever reason, especially Leonard Ellerbe.

Because that’s not how you do your business partners. Why should Showtime be committed to Mayweather Promotions if you’re just going to shop your best talent around every time it suits you? You have to also think about present and future business beyond Tank Davis. That fight is not worth ruining that relationship.

So then by that logic nobody should fight anyone outside their network & as a result, good fights we wanna see won’t ever get made. That’s one of the biggest things wrong with boxing and you’re supporting the problem with that stance. You really think that relationship would sour over Tank getting a one-off opportunity elsewhere? Showtime would be shooting themselves in the foot.

& Since when is that not how you do business? Business isn’t personal. Showtime is in the business of making money not friends. Canelo left Showtime for years and they welcomed him back with open arms. And when he goes back to DAZN or wherever, Showtime would welcome him back again in a heartbeat. Because they know he makes them money.

Exclusive network loyalty has set the sport back for years. I couldn’t care less about a networks feelings. At the end of the day, the fighter’s best interests are more important than anything.

First off I never said I supported anything. I just live in the real world and I know how business is done. Secondly it was never Canelo’s choice to leave Showtime it was GBP’s. And look at GBP now scrambling to get dates and find a home long term. Business is business but you don’t want to burn bridges either.

hearns offer came first so im not sure what you mean about saving face? tank also said he would fight farmer on dazn for 10, but not 5. no mention of "i cant fight on dazn" thats a self imposed rule. he could but he doesn't want to. the person who should be mad here is tank at floyd for screwing him out of lots of money. he is still making 1 million a fight when he could have banked 5 million 2 years ago.

what you are describing is the opposite of business. what you are describing are emotional grudges. i havent read anything about an exclusive tank davis-showtime contract where he must fight there. if he wanted more money he would have gone to dazn for 1 fight, then right back to showtime. they dont care or at least they woudlnt if they were doing good business. all they care about is making money. they wouldnt be like OH MAH GAWD YOU LEFT SHOWTIME WE DONT WANT TO MAKE MONEY OFF YOU NOW! YOU HAVE INSULTED US!

Like I said earlier what is real and what is fake. Hearn saying something in an interview doesn’t mean it’s real. Farmer got a real offer from Mayweather Promotions. I understand Farmer being loyal to Eddie Hearn because Eddie has/had done right by him, especially if you knew the history of Farmers boxing career. But he still should’ve known that’s the best offer he’s ever going to get from Floyd.
