Would be a good fight. Boxing just pisses me off most of the time that I think about it. Ruiz fought in May. It's 7 months later now and there's no idea who or when he's fighting again. I can't get excited for this once every 18 months crap. Does anyone really think we see Ruiz again before at least May?

That would be a great fight but I really like both. Wilder is so dangerous and a lot of people seem to think that the Fury fights took a lot out of him, but I think they most likely made him a better fighter. Ruiz will have to fight a crafty smart fight if he is to win. He's giving up a lot of reach to a guy who has never lost to a shorter man, but at his best, he's capable. If he get's inside and throws his quick combos, he could be a real pain to Wilder. Remember, Deontay, Ruiz is the one who gave Fury the idea of the ear shot. That's how he brought down Joshua. Best of luck to both, may the best man win!! Can't wait!!

Wilder likes shorter guys ,Ruiz likes guys who aren’t going to counter punch back right away . It’s an easy 50/50 fight but wilder is the one who got his head beat in multiple times over a course of over a dozen rounds . I’d give the edge to Ruiz ,if I was Wilder I’d take a far easier fight coming off his medical suspension ,not very smart if he takes it but will definitely have a number of believable excuses if he loses this time , time off , surgery ,a new trainer etc etc .....

He had knee surgery a few months ago, he will be back early next year.

I always think of this vintage photograph anytime I hear about a potential Ruiz/Wilder matchup. Fat+vs+Skinny+boxing+(2).jpg

Don’t be surprised to see him on an undercard with Canelo. Since he’s enjoyed his pbc relationship. Ruiz ain’t focused on boxing like at all despite what he’s posting on social media.

Wilder should be able to 1-2 Andy out of there by the 6th.
