He has been spamming my timeline with pictures and motivational quotes like AJ since he lost his belts.

It just shows how greed can ruin a promising career. He allowed Hearn to promote the fight due to money when he could’ve fought under Arum and on his off night whilst dealing with what he was dealing with - Arum would’ve made sure he got out of there with at least a draw in a very close fight. Hearn doesn’t care about his own boxers and he would sell his mum for a quick buck. And DiBella is a major player in NY. So he was already up against it even before the bell rang.

He needs to suck it up and come back stronger. His best bet is to move up because none of the other boxers would fight him in that division and he’s not a draw. Time to stop crying and move up to 140.

It wasn’t really a close fight though, there was a clear winner. But no doubt he could’ve escaped with a gift draw on his real promoters show.

Anyway, I do think he’s the kind of fighter that carries his problems from outside the ring into the ring, which is never good for a young fighter.

he still has plenty of ability, he’ll be around near the top for a while as long as he keeps mentally focused.

Still, he lost to an underrated fighter. I was one of the only people on here before the fight that said Kambosos had a very good style to deal with Lopez as long as he could perform at the level required. Stylistically it was never a great fight for Lopez, But only the minority of us that actually understand boxing could see that. Kambosos will be right there in the mix for the next few years, very smart fighter.
