That PBC card looks pretty bad. Moloney v Saludar and even this random Russian **** are a lot better than the opponents they dug up for that PBC card at least: https://boxrec.com/en/event/842753
Nice Nick and my boy Limberth Ponce who already has 2 other TBA fights lined up in Davenport lol
You're not gonna claw your way back with these ****ty fights my dude
Ultimately I got no real problems ending on Ioka vs ***unaga but it also starts to then get messy with the PBC card on the 1st on January which I think was pretty much was Universally decided we a wanted to include on the 2022 season... realistically gonna mean seperate threads, a whole new Pick Em masterthread and **** if I got time maybe some PR work see if we can't get some new players in for the New Season.
FWIW 'Roll I did give some thought to having an Xmas day finale but the fights were just so far down the pecking order I couldn't justify it... Hell even the Moscow card is a push, In a way I'd prefer the Ioka fight cos at least everyone knows who Kazuto is and it's legit title fight but the logistics just seemed a bit duanting relative to the significance of the fight.
Tell you what...
Mammoth NC Uppercut asgarth we got any good thought or leftfield solutions? I will run the Tokyo card if we're feeling that'd make a better finale to the year but it'll probably mean pushing back all the prelim work for the 2022 season into the New Year... Ain't really a problem I guess unless anyone's got any proposal for significant changes. Just mean putting the thread up for Martin and Ortiz (there's gotta be pun in there if the King sons the Prince hasn't there?) on the 27th or 28th but leaving the 2022 masterthread until the New Year... got a little time until Smith vs Johnson and Bakole vs Yoka on the 15th to get things sorted...
And yes Tatabanya my friend... You'd agree if I took my phone down to the Marple Tavern on Xmas eve and waited for the first car park brawl to break out... that is a given. You'd pick a draw and I'd hazard a guess you'd probably finally hit Gold after the drunken combatants collapsed in heap after two minutes swinging at air before staggering back inside for another pint to a chorus of backslapping platitudes and declarations of undying friendship.Comment

I think the only change needed is maybe making "Close Decision" up to 8 points instead of 6.
I mentioned it before but now is a more appropriate time. Spamming Clear Decision was like the cheat code to all my perfect picks I swear.
When in doubt or too lazy to view tape, Decision Clear or KO Mid lol...Comment

More than happy to put this one to the CREW but my rationale was that I was waiting to see whether Japan manged to pull something together last minute plus seemed like finishing two weeks and change into December felt too early. I had also dropped a couple pretty loud hints that the Moscow card was likely to be the finale over the last week or two... unfortunately with the fluid circumstances of COVID just had to try to adapt... obviously the original plan was to do traditional Japanese NYE card so it's now about making the best of it.

My opinion isn’t worth crap. I’m headed to Florida for a few weeks and will be on the sidelines.

Yeah. Ima look into that one... CLEAR is the go to pick for me too, but I have been watching out for it a bit and it ain't an overwhelmingly common DEC result... probably comes up a bit more often than CLOSE or WIDE but not massively so. What I actually need to do is go back through the masterthread tally tables and tally up how often each DEC result comes up and adjust accordingly. I'd say 8 seems like it'd likely be a good fit but my pedantic pattern seeking math brain is strangely reluctant to give up the 6/12/18 (0-6 7- 18 18 -36) progression withouit a good reason.
Also even with no multipler, I should have received 100 pts for my picks not 90.
Guerrero Dec Clear 40
Magsayo KO Mid 30
Ungas Dec Close 30
Thanks and sorry I didn't see this sooner.Comment
