I believe it was the other way around, Paulie said that Pac would KO Hatton and that what happened, He also said that he would get robbed in texas and thats what happened. Theirs a patern starting to build; maybe Paulie can see into the future, he is now saying that Cotto will win againts Pac. If this Happen I will call Paulie up and ask him for the Lotto numbers become rich and retire at 34, yes.

Was it just me or did Cotto not look much bigger in anyway than Pac when they met at NY.

Paulie simple preference is by just chosing the bigger man. Pac was the favorite against Hatton because he had just beatin' ODLH in WW catchweight. Now he chose Cotto to win because he is the bigger man here in comparison with Pac physique come fight night. Arum said, Cotto will be most probably at 160lbs while Pac would be only at 147lbs! And because he have no power to KO legit fighters, he knows he would loss with JDiaz by anticipating a home-town Decision.

What Paulie forgot was on what Pac capable of inside the ring!

If Paulie has sparred or fought the top 135ers or 140ers or even some really good 147ers, then he would have a deeper frame of reference.

I would trust Zab's opinion (if honest) because he has been with Clottey, Floyd, Cotto, Tszyu, Baldomir, Spinks, etc. That is a pretty deep pool of guys in different weight classes with different strengths, power, speed and skills.

Manny just isn't as small as everyone seems locked in to. For some reason, people can't get it out of their heads that the guy started at 106. But Pac was 16 years old. At 16, all of these guys were that size. At 16, Floyd won the national Golden Gloves at 106 lbs.

People MUST start looking at that phase of Manny's career as his "amateur bouts". Only, the PI doesn't have a deep amateur culture, so guys go pro mad young. Like Mexico.

Manny isn't tiny. At all. Pac was weighing 144 on fight night as far back as the Barrera fight. He is a fully -filled in JWW...and has been for a long time. He was just drying to make SFW. Roach admitted that they were having weight problems at SFW.
Paulie had a very very very good observation

                believe him or not

i admire paul's analysis of the fight ..as i said you can believe him because he fights with cotto and feel his power already.(like a beast).no question about that, but he certainly don't know pacman's power and speed which maybe predominant and a big factor in this fight..if only malinaggi has faced pacman before....then i can believe his anlysis 100%..I can predict that cotto can beat pacman if he can catch him either in the face or body repeteadly as he will feel the power of cotto...but if he fails then it will be a pacman's fight and can win in k.o. if pacman can re open the previous cut near the eye of cotto..still it will be an even fight and whoever has the better fight plan will win..
