If Haney and Kambosos fight does that make the winner the WBC 3 titles holder at 135? Now I'm confused Lol

Of course! Every boxer dreams of having the Nash strap. It's like the Lineal in a way it has no actual belt, but when it comes to status, the Nash is the one they all want. Nash out.

Exactly, and the best part it has no sanctioning fees and the best best part is that it has no drug testing.

"Franchise" champion isn't a thing...Haney is a decent fighter but he's no champion yet. Kambosos is the man in the division, should be no dispute. Fighters have to win championship recognition by beating the champ unless the champ has retired or moved on.

The fact that the Alphabet Organizations have so many belts available and a weight division every 3 or 4 pounds or so has turned the once great sport of boxing into a laughable cesspool. The best example I can think of is when back in the day when Henry Armstrong and even to a lesser extent Wilfredo Benitez were multi division champs it was historical and really meant something. Move forward a few decades and you have the likes of Adrian Broner in the record books as a 4 division champion with a record of 6-2 in world title fights. He also fought for 4 vacant belts out of those 8 fights. In my opinion that is way more laughable then it is historical and Broner's name should be nowhere near the likes of Armstrong or Benitez in the record books. Broner also fought for a multitude of minor belts and there are so many of them now that I would be rather surprised if even the organizations themselves can keep track of all of them. With that said I also remember the time when the NABF and USBA were actually respectable minor belts and even some state belts carried some weight. There is now talk of yet another bridgeweight division and I thought it could hit no deeper of a bottom, I was obviously wrong.

remember when the Franchise belt wasn't transferable, then all of the sudden it was.

This is all that needs to be said about this topic. Simple, eloquent, factual. Next thread.

Could you explain why the ABC belts matter? For me its always been the Ring and the Nash that mattered. The best of all is the Nash Hyper Champion belt with commemorative Huichol styling.
