I believe he is. His timing, ability to punch with and in between his opponents punches are second to none. A lot of people say they don't see anything special about Crawford and I agree with that sentiment. I agree in the sense that he is not a supremely talented or naturally gifted fighter. He is not an athletic specimen and he does not blow you away with any of his physical gifts like hand speed, foot speed, quickness, power, reflexes, etc. He's unimpressive athletically but his acumen, fight IQ, ability to adapt and adjust is what makes him great.
I would compare him to someone like Larry Bird. He's not much too look at, won't wow you athletically, but he's skilled and his IQ and knowledge of the game is how he dominates.
