I’d be shocked if it sold so little PPVs. That seems too low to be believed. Are you sure that figure is correct?Comment

You are lying about the numbers, tho, like you always do with your quick breaking news.
I don't care if it bombed. I'd rather Davis fight on regular TV.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 12-13-2021, 02:31 AM.Comment

On top of that, judging from all the polls before the fight, only seven percent of boxing fans were going to buy the fight. Dan Rafael did a poll too, with more than 1,000 votes, and his poll showed only six percent of boxing fans were going to buy the fight.
When I take all of this together, I believe it was that low.Comment

No. You know what Floyd said?: "I don't care if it makes any money. I'm rich. I can pay Tank what he wants from my pocket." Davis was seating next to Floyd. Nobody seems to care in Floyd's world. You are lying about the numbers, tho, like you always do with your quick breaking news.

By the way, Gervonta's gate is so substantial compared to other fighters, without even any PPV. He's making a good fortune. One gate was close to 10 mil, without the PPV. I heard his pay was 6 mil in total. Does Loma even attract anything like that?
Was Loma's last weekend fight close to a mil, live gate? His pay was 750k. Some say 250k.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 12-13-2021, 02:47 AM.Comment

On one hand, I don't want them to struggle, but on the other hand, it's not healthy for boxing to have every single damn fight end up being a pay per view. They are going to try to make us buy Thurman vs Barrios now. Thurman is practically retired. When did he fight last? And Barrios is coming off of a loss. And that's a PPV?
This **** has to end, and having unsuccessful PPVs is the way it's going to end. The demand is not there for fights at that price point. One PPV fight is like a year of fights on DAZN. It's ridiculousComment

I could care less what Tank makes. If you want to pretend to be Tank's housewife and stress about how much he's making, then that's on you. I care about Showtime's business model and these bull**** pay per view fights.
