Well, that's what someone whom I trust said. Someone well connected. But I thought the same as you, that maybe that info is wrong and he misheard or something. But then I heard that same exact number from another guy who knows people at Showtime. So that's two people now saying that it did 50k.

On top of that, judging from all the polls before the fight, only seven percent of boxing fans were going to buy the fight. Dan Rafael did a poll too, with more than 1,000 votes, and his poll showed only six percent of boxing fans were going to buy the fight.

When I take all of this together, I believe it was that low.

Just heard, from those in the industry, that Tank vs Cruz only did 50,000 buys. And that’s why we haven’t heard the numbers yet. It bombed. It “tanked.”
