I'm sure it Flopped despite it being a Good Card and Main Event. Might actually be a good thing, now Showtime has to push for him to fight better opponents if he wants to continue to fight on PPV

Yes he is a Draw but he is not as BIG of a Draw as Ellerbe likes to pretend he is at least to the extent of him being able to just fight anybody and still do big numbers

I also seen from Reputable guys it did under 100k. Really hope this either motivates them to put him against better opponents or put his fights on free tv

They should be released by now, if it had done over 200k they would have been out. Probably did well under 200k, more than likely tanked.

canelo done took all PBC’s budget, looks like all their shows are going to PPV to make up for it.

why do everyone think they have a tyson/dlh/mayweather type of fighter to promote? Those 3 are the only guys i know that you could pull someone off the street and still do at least 500k. Tyson did 1.5 million against Mcneely. The thing these promoters are failing to realize, is that All 3 of of these guys earned their stripes by fighting often and on free tv when they first turned pro. Even at their heigh, they were still fighting non PPV fights. Tyson after doing 1.5 million against Mcneely, fought on Fox against Mathis. De la hoya in 97 had 5 fights and after his fight against Sweet Pea, fought Kamau on HBO. Floyd was on TNF and at one point fought twice within a month before he moved on to HBO. Floyd knows how the game works, but he insists on shoving Tank down our throats against hopeless contenders.

Just heard, from those in the industry, that Tank vs Cruz only did 50,000 buys. And that’s why we haven’t heard the numbers yet. It bombed. It “tanked.”

We should hear an official statement of some kind by Tuesday or Wednesday.
