It doesn't matter what country he fights Broner in, the guy doesn't throw punches ffs.

I see Benn is entertaining a fight with Ugas but will not mention Ennis, Crawford of Spence!

Dude Garcia couldn’t make 147 even if Floyd offered him a fight. Why y’all mentioning Garcia like he can even make 147. That dude is null and void trying to melt down that low considering how long he’s been out of the ring. Hell he was struggling to make 147 damn near from the moment he landed there. They been talking about 154 for nearly 3 years now. Him fighting Danny is just laying out the carpet to complain he cherry picked a weight drained zombie. The rest cool, but this is the same as folks talking about Andre making 168 when he couldn’t make 172.

            Which loss? He's 20-0

I understand Benn being brought along gradually, after all dude only had 10 amateur fights before turning pro, but calling out Brook/Khan/AB? Ffs have some ambition. I think the likes of Ugas would be a tough ask for him right now and Crawford or Ennis are out of his league, but if he thinks he's top 5 call out Ortiz Jr or at the very least Avanesyan.

Steve Collins wrote a book about chasing Roy, Roy even admitted ducking Eubank in an interview hard work/ not enough money guess it went the same way as the Benn fight etc etc

Sure Roy was a big star in America, great .. this stuff in boxing is the only sport that it happens in tennis players, athletes, golfers everyone else travels and fights the best, it's what kills the sport. All this eye test rubbish.

Calzaghe is 4 years younger than Roy. When they fought, Roy was 40 and had multiple losses already and no longer on the P4P list. Calzaghe was undefeated and coming off huge win over Kessler and B-Hop. Two vastly different mindsets. Calzaghe would have been destroyed by Roy had they fought in their prime and I love Calzaghe.

Two, can you name the guys that Roy should have traveled to fight in Europe other than Dariusz Michalczewski, who also refused to leave the comfort of Germany?

Roy was #1 P4P for almost a decade. The idea that he was unknown in Europe is just asinine. That’s like saying nobody in Europe knew Floyd during his reign as the #1 P4P from 2005-2015.

The Collins or Benn tales are just that, tales. There’s always context that people tend to leave out or ignore.

Conor Benn says fighters like Algeri are not tests - yet he’s looking for an easy payday vs Khan or Brook next. Eddie Hearn suggested inactive Adrian Broner next for Benn - Algeri would probably get a decision over Broner? My hope is Danny Garcia or David Avanesyan next for Conor, instead of shying away from risky fights.

I didn’t know that about the weight. Danny’s not even a big welter so that’s surprising. His power definitely won’t be shaking boots at 154 so he’d be better off retiring than mixing with the bigger guys.

edit: Danny did make welter in December last year though for a fight against Spence?
