Because he is by far the best. The 'beating' that Loma supposedly took from Lopez was not a beating at all. Lopez did not do **** the whole fight and the judges gave him the early rounds. Round 12 was Lopez' round, that was all. All the other rounds that they gave to Lopez there was hardly any leather thrown. Now all those begrudged boxing fans who got their idols beat up by Loma come out of the woodwork after YEARS of being humiliated.

His record and hype don't match the reality. What's Loma's legacy win at any weight? Russell?

Olympic gold medals mean crap in the pros. Even a bum like Campbell had them.
Which part of his record doesn't match the reality?

And why are you bringing up his Olympic medals? There wasn't a single word said about it. We are talking pros here, not amateurs

That's all we can ask for a fighter, I wish he didn't avoid Haney, but it isn't like he ducked him for some bum.
I agree with everything you said but avoided Haney? Come on man, Haney is the weakest champ of the 4. Loma would beat him on his worst night
