Because he is by far the best. The 'beating' that Loma supposedly took from Lopez was not a beating at all. Lopez did not do **** the whole fight and the judges gave him the early rounds. Round 12 was Lopez' round, that was all. All the other rounds that they gave to Lopez there was hardly any leather thrown. Now all those begrudged boxing fans who got their idols beat up by Loma come out of the woodwork after YEARS of being humiliated.
Why is there so much salt about Loma?

Which part of his record doesn't match the reality?
And why are you bringing up his Olympic medals? There wasn't a single word said about it. We are talking pros here, not amateursComment

I agree with everything you said but avoided Haney? Come on man, Haney is the weakest champ of the 4. Loma would beat him on his worst nightI hate the way they hyped up Loma but besides that there's nothing to hate, he does what we all asks, fights the best available opponents, took on salido in his second pro fight, bounced back and fought Gary Russell with a dominating win, moved up and beat Walters who all the haters wanted him to fight and dominates, same with rigo, rigo and his fans talked all sorts of trash every day for a year and Loma took the fight and won, jumped up to 135 but instead of taking the easy in house fight for an easy belt w Beltran goes to the lineal champ linares wth Oscar, fights a young hungry lion in teo. That's all we can ask for a fighter, I wish he didn't avoid Haney, but it isn't like he ducked him for some bum.Comment
