    Butler ducks Agbeko fight

A bad move for Paul Butler. Fight between him and Joseph Agbeko for the WBO interim belt was officially cancelled as announced by Probellum Promotions.

If Casimero's medical records are not proven (viral gastritis), Butler could've been elevated to full champion 10 days from now (if he had won against Agbeko)

Instead, Butler avoids fighting Agbeko for the title. If Casimero's medical records are proven, this leaves him with no mandatory until another eliminator could be arranged. Which leaves him free to do any fights.

Casimero screws Butler in the *ss

What did Butler do? He gave Casimero a gift by pulling out. Casimero no longer has a mandatory

Paul Butler wanted a Lee Haskins type of win, like the time when Randy Caballero missed weight and lost the IBF bantamweight title on the scales by about four pounds ; basically a division over the 118 limit. Lee Haskins refused to fight Randy and boarded the first flight back to the UK with the strap.

Well played by team Casimero playing the victim

It's an interesting decision by Butler. I don't think Agbeko has fought outside of Ghana since his loss to Rigo, racking up wins against local fighters.

I'm not sure Butler beats Agbeko. Sure the Ghanaian is old and hasn't been relevant in a long time, but when was the last relevant win for Butler? Perhaps it was too risky of a fight for the purse that was offered.
