Miguel Cotto cong****, you are a bad mother-trucker.

Silent killer just like Bud Crawford, but Cotto has always had the backing of the Puerto-ricans, Newyoricans and other Latinos.

Because Pac probably used steroids, along with Floyd,GGG,Canelo,Fury,Joshua,Roy Jones,Holyfield,Hagler,Toney,Chavez,DLH,Leonard,Lo machenko,Tyson,Lewis,Klitchko's,..

Basically most the top fighters in the past 30-40 years have been on some performance enhancing drugs and before that there was other type of cheating going on,fighters taking drugs to take pain and have better stamina, Loaded Gloves, poisoning fighters before fights(that's the reason the water bottles were full of tape with a signature on them), substance to blind fighters in ring. The list goes on..

Anytime there is so much money/fame/recognition at stake human's will do almost anything to keep winning and competing.

They weren't even testing for Opioids in 1979, Mike Ayala shot up the day of the fight.

When you take into consideration opposition faced, accomplishments, skill and excitement of his fights, I actually think he should’ve gotten in ahead of Klitchko last year. Either way, better late than never.

Miguel Cotto fought in the greatest welter weight era since the 80's, and he was champion 'Any fighter who achieve such a feat, deserves to be in the hall of fame'.

Even in his losing efforts Miguel Cotto gained credit.

Yeah, Cotto deserves it. I don't think HOF is based purely off accomplishments but what you gave to the sport you partake in. Sure, he lost some of his high profile matches, but regardless, he gave crazy entertainment in every fight that he participated in. Like, when you get hyped up for every time a particular fighter is about to fight, you know there is something special.

Similar to Gatti. Gatti didn't win his major profile fights, but the entertainment he provided which he gave to the boxing community will live on forever. Why on earth wouldn't he be part of the Hall of Fame? Fame, that is what it is about. It is about becoming famous and what you did to get there. Even if you took losses, the manner in which you carried yourself and gave to the sport is what should be considered.

I can't think of a better fighter that deserves to be in the HOF in comparison to Cotto's donations to the sport.

Cotto was a great fighter, glad he is getting this honor. It is much deserved. He was a part of some classics and was never in a dull fight. His left hook was beautiful, to the head and body. He was a true body snatcher in every sense of the word. When he was able to make those deposits to the bank, they always paid dividends in the mid to late stages of the fight. This seems to be almost a lost art in the current crop of fighters.

At least miguel cotto has a brain, unlike most of these fanboys who still think pacquiao beat all those bigger stronger guys in a clean way lmao https://********/BlfhJdW_ZsE
Let me guess you think Canelo’s 147-cruiserweight jump is natural doe. No mexican beef involved.
