Lomo needs to go back to 130 and fight Shakur. It's a reasonably high profile fight and would a boxing purists dream chess match. Not to mention I think Bob could get it done.

I agree. Loma isn't going to go down in weight, but of all the possible matchups at lightweight Loma Shakur would be better.

Realistically Haney is well paid on DAZN (fight by fight) so Loma probably had to go over to make the finances work as Bob won't stump up the cash and presumably Bob won't send him over.

I could see Kambosos but not Haney. I think Haney would price himself out. I believe Lomo beats Kambosos if they fight though. Not easily but a split decision win or late stoppage is possible

It’s funny to me that with no source just a random “been informed” lol informed by whom ? Loma is coddled some more and given the white gloves treatment in order to make it seem like he has to fight underdogs or has beens like he’s been doing aside from Teo. Gtfoh! I like Loma he is a very good fighter with an awkward style that is difficult for basic guys to figure out but stop with the bull ish. I met Loma at Macys on 34th Street once and he is a cool dude. He is also a warrior and doesn’t need the BS old media coddling it’s exactly the reason why he didn’t cross over more because a lot of guys who grew up boxing are on the fence when we see the bias. He doesn’t need it. Loma gets busy he may not win them all but he’s definitely gonna try to. Respect to Loma.

Loma will probably take less than Davis, Garcia, or Haney to fight kambosis. Question will be if kambosis will consider one of the other guys to be an easier fight and take that fight instead. I kind of think kambosis will fight linares if he were to win his next fight. Linares will travel, has a decent name, and will be beatable in a showcase fight in Australia. Regardless of what he said, I think kambosis is going to take a showcase fight before fighting of the other too guys.

That said loma will be named mandatory by one of the bodies so he is going to get a shot at the title sooner rather than later.
