I did not like the way Lomachenko handled himself after his loss. He never really gave Lopez credit, declaring it at worst a draw, and that he "dominated" the middle rounds on. It bothered me because Lomachenko never came off that to me. Very bothersome as a fan.
But this was class. He did not kick Lopez while he was down. He related the 2 losses, which honestly was the first time I heard him accept the defeat and he did it to show respect to the man who himself had his first career "L". I appreciate that a ton as a fan. So, I will give Lomachenko a pass on the aftermath of the Lopez fight. Anyone can handle something poorly. No one is perfect. This was a high class man handling that question.Jack_sh*t

I fully expect Kambosos to not last a single defense of the titles.

People fail to understand here that Loma's arrogance is really just being European.
There is this song, a girl artist sings this question: "is he gay or is he European" because of the way this guys dresses.
Its a different culture type of demenear, Kambosos has it a little too. Being European, but living 25 years in US (im 35) i see what Americans see as Loma's arrogance, but he's just a confident European dude.
One thing is for sure, you will never see Loma verbally disrespect another fighter. Call them names or something like that. He is not Ryan or Teo.
You will also never see Loma say that he is going to beat the guy, he always says im going to try to put on my best performance.
I honestly wish more young American boxers were like him. It kinds of hurts to see so much disrespect for Lomachenko because people are not picking up on his subtle demeanor difference of being European.
Loma is a respectful dude. He's a little ****y, but he's not disrespectful.Last edited by IAMTHAT; 12-10-2021, 11:25 AM.Rec28 likes this.
