Cool, but please let your fighters represent themselves if they speak English, this ain't WWE, quit acting like Paul Heyman.
Or atleast stop once they have a household name, it's weird seeing Floyd take over Tank Pressers, the public needs to get used to Tank stand on his own two outside the ringComment

I said my piece on the fight with Floyd and Canelo. It's obvious it isn't a face value win. For people to act otherwise is pathetic.
My boxing world doesn't revolve around GGG, or any fighter. You should take notes.Comment

Nah Floyd's best win is Gatti. Floyd has not an offensive risk taker. You only see that type of fighting in ultra elite with GGG vs Canelo series. Floyd's post style, as time progresses, was to only counter and stay out of range. He didn't even bring the fight to former Flyweight Pacquiao. Canelo's physique against Floyd wasn't even filled like the Canelo in the Trout fight which was less than year before.Comment

Floyd: I mean, my thing is, these are some young, hungry fighters, but I fought countless champions and made great investments outside the ring. Btw, Canelo was easy work.Last edited by chepboxingking; 12-08-2021, 02:21 PM.Comment

Lol at people overhyping the Floyd win over Canelo.
Floyd drained him, and caught him at a young age, where Canelo wasn't a finished product, and Canelo had a terrible gameplan that night. Because he was young, and maybe because he was drained.
If Floyd fought him at the 154 pound limit, there would be more credit there. But as almost always, Floyd had to take every precaution to make sure he could win.
People hyping that win that much is pathetic. But most fans on here are pathetic, so no surprise.
At 23 Floyd had freakish power, easily like a 154 pounder. Problem is that Floyd had hand injuries. I mean the guy would eat Doritos as nutrition at a young age for complete nourishment. When you have hand injuries you gotta eat stuff like meat broths, bone, meats, etc… proper proteins. Not junk food like Floyd described. So that impaired recoveries we may not know about. I speak from experience. You don’t train with injured areas. At least just train with a different hand.
Canelo lost because Floyd was just better in everything and he was operating in a non drained environment. He’s also lighter so naturally he’s faster. If Canelo at least had a 154 weigh in he would’ve replenished like in the Trout fight. He was actually lighter for Floyd for unknown reasons. Most here acknowledge these circumstances. Just like we talk about Haney’s punch resistance at 145 where he rehydrates 23lbs in the ring. All these attributes count in the fight. When you’re hurt, recovery, etc.. every bit of conditioning will help you. Canelo was just too thin for this fight in the weigh in and on fight night. It’s almost like a GBP curse the way DLH went against PAC. Maidana was able to go for broke because he wasn’t drained like Canelo. Canelo was boxing Floyd because he didn’t want to drain his gas tank early. He had to chase Floyd in the second half. It could’ve been a lot worse for Canelo had he pressed the gas at Round 1.Comment

I never use the “young” bit all with fighting. Even in highly competitive sports, let’s say world football, fresh young guns at 23 are freaking awesome with nuclear athleticism. Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, etc…prodigies in the game because that age they get to do amazing things with leg kicking power that stays consistent throughout their retirement, so with young healthy hearts they are at optimal level. Not prime, but optimal athletic power. Canelo was a phenomenon before 20 because he’s just athletically gifted with punching power, much of that like PAC, knew how to yield upper torso power before turning pro at 15. Same with Floyd.
