As long as we’re consistent on that, I agree with you. Although let’s be real, a 36 yr old shouldn’t ever be that dominant over a 23 yr old in any combat sport or any sport period for that matter.
The seemingly arbitrary draining of Canelo for 2 pounds just makes it kind of impossible for me to rate that win. Sorry, just is how it is for me. If it wasn't needed, then why do it? That's the first question I will always have.

Yes I am consistent on any and all catchweight and weight clauses, for any fighter.

I can't ever really see the need for a catchweight fight, the only purpose imo seems to be to drain a guy. If you want to fight them, go to their weight class and fight them.

Floyd drained him, and caught him at a young age, where Canelo wasn't a finished product, and Canelo had a terrible gameplan that night. Because he was young, and maybe because he was drained.

If Floyd fought him at the 154 pound limit, there would be more credit there. But as almost always, Floyd had to take every precaution to make sure he could win.

People hyping that win that much is pathetic. But most fans on here are pathetic, so no surprise.

Why do people like you lie? You can express your toxic hate without lying, ya know?

Canelo is also the one that called out Floyd and offered to meet him halfway at 150. So how exactly did he drain Canelo? Proof

After a green Canelo got beat by Floyd, he went on to struggle (arguably lost) against Lara, GGG & had close fights with Cotto and Trout. Where was the experience he gained from Floyd?

Also, Boots Ennis is probably the hottest young gun at WW and has been calling out the top guys at WW including Crawford so, according to your logic, if Ennis was to fight Crawford and got beat, you’d say he’s green or young or inexperienced?

It depends on how Ennis looked in that fight, and then what he went on to do after, of course lol. This is like grade school level stuff as far as being able to understand it bro.

I don't hate on Mayweather. He definitely was overly selective with his opponent choices the back half of his career. It's fuc, king obvious. Suck the guy's di.ck if you wan to, I don't give a sh,it. But yeah he was very selective.

And now the only straw you have is to try and say Canelo wanted the catchweight. Lol, you people are fu,cking pathetic man. The lengths you will go to, to try and defend some random guy who has nothing to do with you, is bizarre to say the least.

I'm just calling it how it is - the catchweight was absolute bull.sh.it for 2 guys in the same division. Canelo is fighting at maybe 190-200 pounds now in his career, to act like he wouldn't have wanted to come in as high as possible on his weight, is ignorant.

The catchweight was BS and it makes rating that win hard to do. Especially since Canelo was green as far as experience goes in a big fight like that.

Fu.cking cry about it if you want to. It's obvious. There's no hate there, just calling out something that is as clear as day.

Canelo screwed himself with that one because he offered to fight mayweather at 150 about a year and a half earlier. He opened the door to the catchweight so mayweather offered it at 152. I’m not a fan of catchweights and think if you want to fight a guy, don’t try to put them at a disadvantage. Canelo while at the disadvantage vs Floyd, is just as guilty of doing that if not more than anyone in boxing.

Oh I mean I hate it when he does it as well, it's BS. I couldn't imagine explaining that away, for any fighter. Fanboys who do that on here are pathetic. But most posters on here are pathetic to be honest, and there is a lot of overlap there.

People are fans of their crew and not of the sport. And do anything to defend their favorites.

If Canelo did offer a 150 pound catchweight, it just proves my point imo. Canelo knew that to get that fight, he had to make himself as vulnerable as possible. We know Canelo would not have wanted the fight at 150. He wanted to do whatever he could to get the payday.

You fake MF’ers kill me trying to discredit what he accomplished in boxing which can’t and hasn’t been duplicated. The number of former champions he’s beaten, the record of 49-0 the millions he’s made and being black and non college educated have you haters (F’ed up) and mad and jealous all at the same time, plus he’s still a major player, but the Golden girl who gets high, dress in drag and despise Floyd don’t have problems with him; but it just shows the state of racist as America; but all of you can kiss my black Asssssssss!

I said my piece on the fight with Floyd and Canelo. It's obvious it isn't a face value win. For people to act otherwise is pathetic.

My boxing world doesn't revolve around GGG, or any fighter. You should take notes.

come on man, some of the things you have said about Golovkin are so absurd they are downright creepy
