The best moments of your favorite commentator

I'm gonna go with my boy lamps, yup Lampley. Had a **** eating grin, cried like a girl when Miguel Cotto retired making people ask if Miguel was dead? Once in a while took hits from the bong with his snorting nose noise. I heard he had something like a lobster claws person in his life (wtf) can't even remember where I heard that lol, tweezing his eyebrows ringside in ring magazine! And doing the morning show he had his assistant pour him a glass of diet Pepsi... Yet all this time I agree with max:" lamps is the best I've ever heard do it." Just like rjj "was the best I've ever seen do it "

Also, he was in the golota Bowe melee mic'd up saying "C'mon man, don't do that, don't throw the chair" or something along those lines while George Foreman got up and said"you better put that table down son, if you know what's best for you" lol.they respected big George. George Foreman saved the day there.

“Tentative jab from Froch, takes a right hand, he’s not throwing the jab with confidence, he’s struggling with the range”

“OHHH and he’s been NAILED! George Groves, timing perfect”.

        Emanuel Steward

        Jones Vs Tarver

I can't remember the exact words but it was something like Jones been having trouble figuring Tarver out the whole fight right before Tarver got the KO. He called that like a mf. I already said this in another thread but HBO had the best everything.

Roy Jones during the Pacquiao-Marquez fight. Marquez hits him with a timed right at the end of the round to knock Pacquiao unconscious.

Right when Manny fell, Roy goes, "OoOoOoOoooOoOoOoOo, HE'S NOT GETTING UP JIM, HE'S NOT GETTING UP JIM, HE'S NOT GETTING UPPPP"

Everytime I watch the video of the knockout, Roy's voice with those words play in my head lol

I remember Steve Holdsworth once saying of a boxer that just got KO'd..."he's covered the first three rows in glass".

Not a classic line (and not a favorite commentator of mine) but something that has stuck with me for decades:

"He's got a hematoma on his head!"

-Ray Boom Boom Mancini commentating on a forgotten fight from the 80s or 90s

                    wonder what happened to him?
Al Bernstein is about the only commentator i can listen to without wanting to mute it instantly nowadays tbh.
