It looks as if that Showtime card was a bust. Bad for boxing if it is. Do you think Mayweather Promotions, the PBC and Showtime learned a lesson or are we going to continue to get $80 PPVs?

Yeah. Looking at that poll, I have to think that only 7.2 percent of boxing fans actually bought the fight. You're right, I'd be shocked if it does 100k. No wonder Ellerbe wants to fight Hearn. When the numbers come out, and Hearn tweets a criticism, Ellerbe might actually try to kill Hearn.
Here's what Hearn said before the fight: ""This isn't me hating on fights, this is just reality. Gervonta Davis against Isaac Cruz, what does it do (pay-per-view buys)? 100,000? Less? “Last edited by Cypocryphy; 12-07-2021, 12:20 AM.Comment

No idea. All things considered, time of year with bigger fights on PPV happening alot, Sunday night, little known opponent who was also a late replacement I'd imagine it would of struggled to do well. Tank dirty management team are greedy as fkk.
But the crowd looked decent and it was a good fight so who ever did pay for it didn't get a stinker or a one sided beat down.Comment
