Yoka is ranked 5th, Bakole is ranked 14th.

Either of those guys would be better than Zhang.
These guys don`t want no part of Hrgovic. Hrgovic beats them all. Yoka won`t fight anybody good, he is French protected fighter.

Zhang looks like he's quite good and that's whyr its a good one you want to see
Not quite but please feel free to continue explaining to me why I want to see the fight.

I don't rate Zhang highly. He is old and slow, he could barely stand up by the end of the Forrest fight. I also have reservations about Hrgovic and would like to see him fight something a bit more challenging than former sparring partners and eastern European club fighters (and Zhang is probably a step up from that).

By fighting each other we will have more answers about both fighters. I have my opinions what those answers will be but we don't really know until it happens in a ring. That's why I want to see the fight happen. Really quite simple.

You said you don't rate Zhang highly but want to see fight, so it's almost like you don't like Zhang and want to see him beat up? But actually you don't rate Croatian also maybe so it's chance to see who's best of a bad bunch.
        That would be fair enough

I don't have to think a guy is championship level to want to see him fight. I enjoy fighters and fights at all levels. I prefer competitive fights above all else.
Hrgovic is an unknown to me, I've seen him fight about half a dozen times but the level of competition has been pretty suspect so it's hard to really get a good idea how good he is. The Croatian has wiped out his opponents but has been hit clean in some of those fights. He has a pedigree but I can't go by amateur experience or World Series of Boxing to determine how good of a fighter he will be.

Zhang seems limited in his skills but he hits hard. He dropped a normally durable Jerry Forrest several times early but then faded badly in the second half of the fight and literally almost died in the ring. He's big but he's slow.

I would expect Hrgovic to defeat Zhang but it's hard to really know based on the level of each fighters opposition. If they fight each other maybe we can learn a bit about where they stack up among the other guys in the division.

Agreed... Jerry came so close to stopping him at the end... if it was a 12-rounder he would've got him.

Zhang only has a puncher's chance very early, then he gasses really hard because his conditioning is poor and he's almost 40 years old.

This is basically a 3-round fight. You make it to the 4th round and you've already beaten Zhang.

Good opponents for Hrgovic in 2022... I'm looking at Wallin, Bakole, Gassiev, Yoka, and Sanchez.

Wallin and Sanchez are not realistic, they are not ranked by IBF. Hrgovic wants IBF eliminator.

Yoka seems to have done a lot more than Hrgovic

Including declining the fight ,he is ranked above some guys .Yoka vs Hrgovic going by IBF should be the elimination bout if he maintains his ranking . How has Yoka done more ,no one is declining fights with him ?

No you said that because Yoka declined Hrgovic. How has he done more ? That’s what you said .

One cannot be doing more if they don’t accept the fight ,that’s doing less isn’t it ?
