Mayweather can provide great business advice, but as a trainer looking for big pay check.
I hear Mayweather to busy with other business dealings constantly out of state meetings.
Starts with a new boxer, then shortly afterwards hands him over to other staff. Which is
fine with young pros but AJ should expect complete hands on directly from Floyd Jr or Floyd
Sr. during entire training camp.
Andy Ruiz left Joshua mentality broken and afraid of getting court in exchanges like 1st fight.
Joshua's become to cautions and gun shy.
Joshua's trust on new added trainer has to be unquestionable. US trainers like Teddy Atlas,
James "Buddy" McGirt, Clarence "Bones" Adams and Freddie Roach will woke up the
sleeping giant in him.
Some fighters won't recover from this mental lapse. But a great trainer experienced in mind
games with several fight plans and call fight adjustments as needed will greatly improve
fighters moral and confidence when fight is getting tough.
When young fighters have mental break down, they tend to lose a few fights and disappear
from the boxing scene. But as an elite champion, Donald "The cobra" Curry lost his titles
to Lloyd Honeyghan. Donald afterwards fought tentative, lifeless and predictable. Donald
lost the fight mentality before stepping in the ring. His trainers conditioned his body but not
his mind.
I hope Joshua regains titles and delivers more great action packed fights.

There’s no doubt in my mind that Mayweather knows how he would beat Usyk (weight class notwithstanding). There’s no doubt in mind that Mayweather can tell someone else how THEY should go about beating Usyk.
But I’ll be damned if AJ has the boxing IQ to implement such. His current fighting style is the result of trying to alter what he is. He’s not a boxer, he’s a brawler; a very precise, technically correct (in terms of shot selection + technique only) brawler, but a brawler all the same.
What he is and what he could be with a serious coach is still not enough to beat Usyk, mind, but he can have a really solid 2nd half to his career in some major fights and w/big wins if he finds a coach who will let him be himself

I appreciate that, but disagree with the idea that he can’t deal with adversity. He’s fought through fire before. All that’s happened is his attempts at altering his style post-Klitschko have made him 2nd and 3rd guess himself, meaning he’s not sure when to stick or twist.
I say, ‘twist, but don’t be completely ****** with it’ is evergreen advice for AJ, and will work with everyone but his next opponent.
