Why the hate for Devin Haney?

He is an anti-white racist. His fights aren't entertaining. He has a weak chin. He held on for dear life for 2 rounds after Linares hurt him. He runs his mouth too much. His resume is trash. He has a paper email elevated chump title. His Dad is also an anti-white racist. He looks like a ninja turtle.Comment

Haney did not deserve the shot at the best fighter in the division. He had beaten no one to get the shot. Even after Lomachenko vs Lopez, he did not deserve the shot. So Lomachenko had to drop the belt to avoid making his career go stagnant by sticking around for a prospect.
That's simply not true.
The WBC had not called for the mando yet. So Lomachenko and Teofimo were free to fight.
The winner would then have likely had to face Haney. But Top Rank removed him from the picture by asking for Franchise Champion status and having Lomachenko drop the belt.
Lopez had just beaten Nakatani and KO’ed Commey.
Haney was gifted the WBC title after beating no one of note. I am not sure what are fans desire with having prospects holding titles? What is some fans obsession with allowing the WBC to go along with these phony practices and these fake rankings? How did Haney work his way up to a title shot vs The Ring Lightweight champion? How can you even get there with his resume? I don’t get it.
The worst rankings in sports are the title rankings of boxing. The absolute worse. These are the worse rankings in any major sport in the US. In fact, any sport in the world, the Solar system. The most nonsensical, mediocre rankings in this entire solar system goes to: WBC, WBA, WBO, and IBF.
The day Devin Haney steps up to somehow “defend” his WBC title, against an elite fighter with pop, he is getting KTFO. By far, one of the worst active champions right now.Comment

Your personal feelings on whether or not Haney deserved the shot don't matter, Kev.

The WBC ranked him #1. Lomachenko and Teofimo were free fo unify with each other, but the winner would have had Haney looming as the mandatory.
That's why Lomachenko's team requested Franchise Champion status and dropped the WBC belt.

And you are okay with that. We get it. That’s fine. You are okay with these phony rankings that hand out #1 spots to fighters like Devin Haney and Avni Yildirim.

The thread is asking why the “hate” for Haney.
So yeah, every post here will be “personal”
Boxing fans are discussing why they don’t like the WBC email champion with some fans coming in here fending off the Haney “hate” by swinging their purses at us.

Lomachenko didn't drop the WBC belt. He was upgraded to Franchise world champion. That's like saying Haney dropped the WBC belt because he got upgraded to regular world champion from interim. Doesn't make any sense.

His racist comment towards Lomachenko was another attempt at trying to be like another ATG fighter. While having done zero in his career. He is an anti-white racist. His fights aren't entertaining. Problem is, Hopkins was 43 years old, big wins and titles vs the biggest names in boxing from 160 to 175, and already a Hall of Famer.
Haney also tries to look and sound like Mayweather. It’s as if he looks at interviews of Mayweather and rehearses those interviews.
These fighters like him and Broner don’t get it. Mayweather and Hopkins, before becoming “the bad guy” and pissing fans off, they had a proven resume. They had worthy wins. Haney and Broner put up this act like they are in mid career and have this amazing resume that people hate them for.
People don’t like them because they have shown that they suck and their performances don’t match their mouth. When Mayweather KO’ed #5 P4P Diego Corrales at 130, in a fight with even odds, that still was not even the best to come from him.
But Devin Haney, in the heels of his white boy comment, was coming off back to back wins over Zaur Abdullaev and Alfredo Santiago. Two amazing wins, said no one ever.
He really believes he is Floyd Mayweather Jr:
