Haney closed strong. Backed up Diaz after looking a tiny bit hurt. I think Haney should have won comfortably, but it was a “tough” fight for sure.

Diaz said he got a big glob of Vaseline in his eye and that he was trying to clear it out and that’s why he stopped throwing and started going backwards. If that’s the case, then it seems his cut man did him a disservice.

Good matchup by Hearn. Diaz is tough, but can’t punch. They have been feeding Haney glass chinned fighters like Linares and Gamboa, to get KO’s but he couldn’t.

Now he gets a guy with a good chin but can’t punch so that way he won’t get as hurt as he did vs Linares. So good match.

I don’t like Devin Haney at all, but I am not sure why fans are booing him. He did not fight like a pssy this time like he did vs Linares.

Come on Kev, it's not like Hearn made the match-up to protect Haney. JoJo fought his way into position, and due to Garcia's supposed injury, JoJo bypassed the final eliminator and fought Haney. Sometimes, the sanctioning body match-ups happen to favor the title-holder.

Why do you dislike him? Honestly, I'm surprised that he's growing on me because I'm partial to punchers.

I think he should have been stronger with his pressure from the beginning. You may have a point though.

A fight like this makes you miss Maidana. You've got to bull your way in against Devin, and then go to work on the inside.

I don’t care for either title, as they are both fantasy, but to my knowledge “god” and “allah” are the same. Alllah is god in Arabic. Both ******s and Christians also acknowledge that they do believe in the same “god/allah”, despite having different religions.

Devin gets stopped by both Lomachenko and Tank. Even Ryan Garcia has a good at sleeping him, Devin is too fragile and gets into survival mode whenever he gets clopped, he actually shows he’s hurt.

Nobody is worried about that belt because its a fake belt, who did he beat to win it? The wbc recognizes the franchise as their true champion, which is Kambosos now. Devin is a good fighter but he’s the amir khan of the lightweights , as soon as he fights someone with pop he’s going asleep
