Marquez has higher caliber wins
Morales also beat Pacquiao, in a GREAT fight... but he lost Barrera
Marquez beat Barrera in a VERY close fight... that fight was a lot closer than the scoring suggested
also, Marquez beat Norwood... and he also beat Chris John, that fight was a travesty

that article was penned BEFORE the third Pacquiao/Marquez fight, and it ranked them pretty close... suggesting that if Marquez beat Pacquiao he would leap-frog his Mexican rivals... well, I had Marquez winning the trilogy - as did Ronnie "pac-hugger" Nathanielsz, Ben Delgado (Pacquiao's old coach), and a licensed referee from the Philippines - who all watched that fight together... along with MANY boxing insiders, and most of the fans in attendance - many of whom were Filipino
and... we all know what happened in the fourth fight
I don't think there is any question at all that Marquez should be ranked higher than Morales and Barrera
HUGE Morales fan btw, his effort in the first Pacquiao fight was a career-defining performance

My own pick would be Marquez as well... For the same reasons... Yes the Chris John fight lol. You can never go with judges. I can see someone choosing any one, but to not include Marquez in that group is off.

Exactly, the article was even before the third & fourth fight with Pac and it still ranked them close...
