Joshua can fight Wilder. They are both big time ex champ losers the last few years. It is time to eliminate one of these guys from the top rankings so we can move some new fighters up. Nobody remembers titles. Ruiz had a bunch of titles for six months to show they hold no value. Joshua doesn't deserve a rematch. That means as of right now, AJ is inferior to Wilder. And if he fails again in the Usyk rematch, he needs to prove himself to earn the fight against Tyson Fury. Let's see him against Joe Joyce. Let's see him against Deontay Wilder. Hell, even the winner of the upcoming Bakole vs. Yoka would be a great test to prove himself. But he needs to build himself back up, and that's gonna take at least a couple fights and at least a year with a new trainer. The only way for Wilder to prove he is better than Joshua is to fight him and win. Or at least fight Usyk or Ruiz. If Wilder retires now it doesn't prove him to be that good of a champion. Joshua could step aside and allow the belts to be unified before he fights for them. I'm sure he would consider that and the WBC would rule for it...
