Just imagine if TR, GBP, DAZN say these things. Hell would break loose in the PBC fandom community.

Because Cruz will be just his third opponent ranked in the top 10 of the division he's fighting them in at the time of the fight.

      Cruz is a #6. He has fought a #7 and a #9. That's it, in 26 fights.

Why does a 27 year old with such a soft resume deserve such loyalty?
I don't know who he is gonna step up to. He's the best in the division.
The only fight at 135 that intrigues me is against Loma. Hopefully that will happen someday.
By step up, if you mean the belts, I couldn't care less about those.

How is he the best in the division when he's never faced a top 5 fighter in his entire life?

Understood. But as you said it’s not as if he’s pulling DLH, or Mayweather or Canelo numbers. Even if he gets 90% of the share fighting B-Level fighters is it really gonna generate as much as say taking 60% fighting Loma or another quality opponent? Great fighters need a dance partner. Most of us here believe Tank is a great fighter but and we want to see him fight the best. Statements like till the others bring my level of money makes fans of his frustrated.

I don't follow your ranking or wherever you are getting it from.
How many of these guys would you bet on to beat Davis?

TBRB or Ring Magazine. Any source that ranks the entire division rather than ranking contenders following specific paths to specific belts like the alphabet soups do.

To be the best you have to beat the best. Davis doesn't even fight ranked contenders most of the time.

                    he fought at 140
so he can step up to anyone in te top 3 or 4 there

Any one of those people would be a step up from what he's been fighting.

                    That was easy

Marketing always includes exaggerated rhetoric. Whether it’s Ali being the greatest, Floyd being TBE Etc etc.

respectfully, there seems to be something more here. Loma calls himself the Matrix. Teo the Takeover. Those are as much a lie as anything Tank calls himself. Yet no one says anything.

As for not cooperating, we all know the real reason why. Many celebrated when hbo fired Al. Cool. Now that he recovered from that and built a successful company everyone that wanted him out now wants him to work with everyone else.

In all honesty, given the facts, not the BS,If you were ceo of pbc would you work with others after how you were treated?
Yeah. I see what you are saying. And Arum doesn't like Hearn either and will try to avoid working with him whenever he can. I believe that's part of the reason why Arum petitioned for the franchise belt for Loma. It would have resulted in another bidding war with Eddie, and after Crolla, Arum was like "Nope, not again." I think the two got into a heated argument at that fight. (Incidentally, Arum said he was going to petition for Loma's franchise status at the Campbell fight, and Eddie and Arum got into argument about that. But the point is that it occurred before Haney was even fighting for his interim belt. Just want to mention that because I think the point was to avoid anyone with a WBC belt at lightweight so that Arum could make a fight for Loma at 130. That was the real reason as explained by Bob back then.)

Anyway, I see what you are saying, but I think having a nickname is different than what I was saying about Tank. I don't recall Loma saying he's like Willie Pep. I know Arum compared Loma to Ali but only in the sense of his footwork. And Arum was good friends with Ali, so it was just a complement that people blew out of proportion. I can't speak on Teofimo because that kid needs to shut up. I remember when they said they'd be better than Floyd. **** was out of control. Tank and Teofimo say some dumb stuff sometimes. Tank is no Canelo and Teofimo is definitely no Floyd, no matter how many times he rolls his shoulder. It's ******ed.

Anyway, I think things are changing because according to Arum, it worked out really well with Haymon cross promoting Fury and Wilder. So maybe things are about to change. We'll see. But I definitely see both of them boycotting Hearn, and personally I'd like to see them all work together.
