They can do whatever they want. They would actually make MORE money, however, by appeasing the public. Let me put it to you this way: What business ignores the demands of the public? What business doesn't supply those demands and just does what it wants? At the very least, it won't be as successful as it could be. AT THE VERY LEAST.

The public wants to see good fights. Watch this PPV with Tank TANK horribly. They are going to lose money on this PPV. I guarantee it. Is that a successful business?

It's all smoke and mirrors.

The true crime is that Tank will go down in history as a footnote. If that's what Tank wants, then I guess I can respect that. But if Tank tries to make himself out to be more than what he is, it won't bode well because the public will let him know.

The Davis machine is crafted well by Ellerbe, and Davis can fight...but he has no plans to fight the top guys.
Overpay is bull****, make the best fights and stop making excuses. Ellerbe guided Mayweather well,
but Mayweather fought an OLD Manny Pacquao...put Davis in with a real top lion, stop putting him in with
second tier guys.
